These bandages work the best for my large wound. The adhesive stays on comfortably all day. The adhesive will break down a little in the shower. But you can still shower as long as you know that your bandage is not waterproof. These are also pretty affordable.

This is a good product, we use these for our elderly mother whom has bedsores, they work perfectly and stay on, we change it once every 4 to 5 days, it stays in place and covers her bedsore well. There is no need to change it daily, the adhesive sticks good and does not hurt when you peel it off and does not hurt her wound. They are a little pricey but worth the cost.

All around GREAT, my ma has pressure soars on her bottom, cheek to cheek and with 9 inches, it covers very well and stays on all night, they also keep urine out, and it keeps her from getting more break out because it protects the skin well, give it around 10 days with two boxes, the pressure soars will heal, but you still must wash clean with sterile water and some ointment every morning, these foam patches handles the bottom of your loved one with tender loving care - we can sit now and have tea :)

Works well although doesn’t stick well close to the rectal area possibly because of some dampness on the skin which is hard to prevent. Even the more expensive ones don’t stick well in that area. But it does help in preventing skin breakdown on the buttocks.

I was reluctant to order these because of the price but figured I would give them a try since my grandmother has stage 2 bed sore. They are amazing! She said when it is on, she doesn’t have any pain. They are WAY bigger than I expected but they are worth it. I will have to order more, but I’m hoping they can help get the sores healed quickly.

I needed this pad for my buttocks which have some significant abrasions after a motorcycle accident. Since the shape of the abrasions is irregular and about the size of this pad I decided to purchase it. So far we used nonstick pads with an absorbent pad on top or medicated gauze, which was changed every day. The medvance pad worked Ok, at the beginning, although it did not improve discomfort, but the next day I went for a walk and the sweat rendered the adhesive useless so the pad came off. This item may work for people that are bedridden, that don’t move or sweat much, for me it was an expensive and unsatisfying experience.

Love the large size and adhesion is great. Edges stay flat and removal is painless.

Ottimo prodotto preso per un paziente a letto da un lungo periodo. Purtroppo i bordi sono molto larghi e metterlo sul sacro era una impresa essendo molto sottile difficile da posizionare. Per evitare problemi all'ano bisogna tagliare e così si rovina la protezione dai fluidi. Spedizione sempre rapida e perfetta. Il prezzo per questi articoli è decisamente alto.cmq nella norma con urgenza amazon te lo consegna per fortuna esiste.

Not super absorbent but add layers of absorption material to the dressing

I use this product to treat a variety of sores on the back of my wife. I have access to another, and i think lesser, brand paid for by the government. This product seems to ameliorate her sores, over time curing the infection. The free ones just don't. This judgement on the basis of three months of application of dressings. So this is my impression on the basis of experience (not any medical knowledge i admit): these dressings have a beneficial effect. And the government-sponsored nurse applying these dressings prefers them to what is issued by our home care plan. Worth the extra cost to cure a loved one i think.

I used this product as a buffer to prevent any shafing on the sacral area as my son is bed ridden. If I was to order again I would a smaller size.
