Very good camera, have purchased 5 of these to hook into Home App… last 4 cameras were ver2, this one was version 1, not compatible with Apple HomeKit … disappointed in receiving old version …

Great upgrade
The motor that moves the pan/tilt on the c225 is faster. The starlight mode and the far/close option for infrared makes it super clear at night time and the whole thing runs as easy as the rest of the Tapo cameras because it’s all on the one app still. Well worth it. I’ll be sticking with this brand for ages.

5 von 5 Sternen – Tolle Kamera, auch sehr gut als Babyphone nutzbar
Wir nutzen die Tapo C225 hauptsächlich als Babyphone mit Kamera und sind sehr zufrieden. Die Einrichtung war einfach und die Kamera ließ sich schnell in Betrieb nehmen. Die Bildqualität ist sehr gut, auch im Dunkeln. Besonders die Nachtsicht überzeugt uns. Sehr praktisch finde ich den umschaltbaren IR-Modus. Man kann auf die unsichtbare 940-nm-IR-LED wechseln, sodass das Baby/Kleinkind überwacht werden kann, ohne dass störendes Licht den Schlaf beeinträchtigt. Die 360°-Funktion mit Schwenken und Neigen ist ebenfalls sehr praktisch, da man den Raum gut im Blick behalten kann. Besonders positiv finde ich auch den Alarm bei Baby- bzw. Kindergeschrei. Die Erkennung funktioniert bei uns zuverlässig und die Benachrichtigungen kommen schnell an. Auch das Zwei-Wege-Audio ist praktisch, wenn man kurz mit dem Kind sprechen möchte. Der physische Privatsphärenmodus gefällt mir ebenfalls gut, weil das Objektiv sichtbar verdeckt wird. Fazit: Sehr gute Kamera mit starker Bildqualität, zuverlässiger Erkennung und sehr guter Nachtsicht. Als Alternative zum klassischen Babyphone absolut empfehlenswert.
