Love that the case has a place for ID when I don’t want to carry a purse. Biggest complaint is when taking a picture with a flash, you get s not so lovely pink tint on your photo. Since I’ve already bought this item, I’m going to try to paint around the lens opening with black paint and see if that solves the problem.

It's got one flaw, the case partially blocks and reflects the camera flash. When taking nighttime photos, I have to remove iPhone X case in order for the flash to function properly.

This is a great case that has one serious, deal breaking flaw: it messes with the flash when you are taking photos from more than a selfie's distance away. It leaves this weird pink cast. I tried taking the same photos with and without the case on and there was a huge difference. This is honestly a dealbreaker for me and I will be returning the case. Also it's really slippery so it's easy to fall off of surfaces or out of your hand. However the card case is really handy and I will be looking for another case with a similar feature but no flash interference.

The case performs as advertised. It is designed well and operates well. The sliding door compartment will hold 2 cards easily, but it is a little tight with more than that. Two cards is not enough for me, so I bought a Cell Phone Card Holder to glue onto the sliding door. I now have 2 cards inside the sliding door compartment and another 4 cards in the Cell Phone Card Holder. This combination works great.I recommend the Spigen Slim Armor Case. It is a good product at a good price.

Update after 3 months: (from 4 to 3)It's not perfect, but it fulfills my #1 priority very well -- not shattering my phone.I used to have the Spigen Tough Armor for my iPhone 6 because I apparently never fully developed my motor skills and so I drop things about 58 times a day. I really loved my Tough Armor and was going to buy it again for the iPhone X, but I went for this one instead since it has the card slot. I also like the color options.Pros:- I've already dropped it about 15 times a week for 3 months. It's fallen on its corners, flat on the screen and on its back too. No damage to phone, phew!- To a klutz like me, the raised "lip" that protects the screen is crucial. This one has a nice protective lip, without feeling as bulky as the Tough Armor.- I like the color :)- No more carrying a wallet, yey!Cons:- NOT SUITABLE FOR FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY. I didn't notice at first because I rarely use the flash, but as others pointed out, your pictures will have a terrible blurry pink filter if you use flash. I don't love the fragile and vulnerable feeling of my soul shrinking in fear when I have to remove the cover before I give my phone to a stranger to they can take a picture of us. Honestly, I just don't take photos if they require flash anymore.- It's not grippy as advertised (in my opinion). The smoothness makes it nice to use and attractive, but saying it's "grippy" is delusional. Honestly, to me, this is not a deal breaker, because even if a case is made out of that glue used to trap rats, I will still find a way to drop it... So since it has excellent protection, this doesn't bother me as much as it would other people. I actually prefer it to be nice to the touch.- I wish they would have made the slot a micrometer bigger. It fits 2 cards comfortably - but once you put the 3rd one in (like me), the little door pops out a little bit. If they would have given it a hair of space extra, it would have been the perfect size.Also - note that if you don't have ANY nails at all, it might be hard for you to pull the cards out.Overall, I recommend this to my clumsy friends that don't want to carry wallets. If that's you, this case will be good for you.
