Santek EZ Sign 4.2"

Got this for my office. It is so easy to set up and the result looks very good and professional. We are just using it for wifi password display for guests, but it can be used for soooo many occasions. I am excited to find this little creative tool.

Terrible product. The letters showing g in the screen are fuzzy not clear. It reduces the font to the pont you can not read it. It only shows green screen in the background. It's impossible to read anything you write like intructions. Notices, anything you write in the screen is reduced to the pont you can not read it. There is no option to change the size of the font. It's so small that nobody can read it. Don't waste your time and money on this product suport can not help you because that is the way it was designed

While there is a variety of uses for this, and it does look pretty good, the thing I find frustrating is that for how much it costs, the annoying flashing between resetting the screen is a little bit much to me. Hence why I only gave it 4 stars. I also missed the size, 4 inches isn't a huge screen and for the cost, I don't know, personally I'd rather just pay $20ish for someone to print and laminate a nice looking sign. I had intended on using this for payment options when I do craft markets instead of the laminated sign that I have. The long flashing between screen changes is a major turn off to me. Even if I just left up one type of QR code payment, when I needed another it would be annoying to switch between screens. I am still on the fence about it, but I might have to find a different plan for it's use. There are a lot of options to use it for, I'm just not sure any of them will suit my needs.

I absolutely love the Santek 4.2” EZ Sign ! We have been searching for a small, modern, and cute messaging display for our home entrance and finally found the perfect one !

This is a handy little display for things like WiFi passwords or small signs. It looks sleek and works well for simple messages. The screen flashing during resets is a bit annoying, but it’s still a solid option for personal or office use. Decent for the price

Case is bad quality, has gaps. Product title suggests it has WiFi, which was assumed it worked over WiFi. This is not the case and should have been clarified in the description. This product requires a USB connection to update the stored screen, and manual interaction to change them.

Product arrived on time and in perfect condition. Got the software downloaded to PC (confirmed it was the latest version) and the software refuses to run. It opens, and you select your display choice, but then nothing. Garbage.

This is a good little bit of kit if you are prepared for its flaws! To be clear this doesn’t have WiFi. You can upload 5 different signs, then a press of the button cycles through them. If you haven’t changed signs for a few minutes then you will need to wake the device by pressing the button for a couple of seconds before changing again. The sign is still displayed while it sleeps to save power. The upload process is a little slow (it takes about a minute per screen) but the software actually does a fairly decent job of making it easy to either upload text or photos. I had to go on a side quest to find the computer driver, I’m sure for most people Windows will find the correct one automatically, however, I was running Windows in Parallels on a Mac. Essentially I found it needed a driver called USB-Enhanced-Serial-CH343, a quick google gave me the driver software CH343SER.exe Once installed this connected and worked perfectly. I found that the two pop ups telling me the upload was processing and complete hid behind the main software window. Finding them and clicking ok allowed me to upload the next sign.
