Plug and play. Replaced an Airport Extreme server that was last supported by Apple circa 2018. Internet speed went from 100 Mbps (old server limitation) to 250 Mbps (speed of IP service). Set-up directions were clear and easy to understand. Red light told me to have the IP send a signal and connection was immediate. Only negative comment - white light when first plugged in looks very similar to blue light when fully connected, so I did an unnecessary restart, not realizing it had already connected to the IP router. Coverage in my 3,000 sf single story home is excellent without using the nodes, but I plugged one in two rooms away just in case. 3 Macs and 2 iPads in use run flawlessly.

This is the best router we've owned. The speeds we get are way faster than the routers we've have in the past. The little nodes make it so the thick walls of our house no longer limit our wifi speeds, slow down our movie streams and the linksys app make setting it up as simple as it gets. Online games havent run this smooth ever so if thats what you're looking for this is a good choice as well.

Great Item.....except.... absolutely refused to hold a connection for more that and few hours. I run my cameras and Alexa from this router, and everything has been a nightmare since I installed it. All of my lights and cameras are consistently offline. I would be away from how and check in on my home, only to have the system down. It's frustrating! Would be in the middle of and Xbox game, and jut flat out get disconnected! I'm done, back it goes. I was trying to upgrade an 8yr old Linksys router, and this new router is junk compared to the old one. I'm done with it!
