I bought this cable to connect a Ruark R1 DAB radio to a Kandy K2 amplifier and Monitor Silver R6 speakers thereby enabling me to play high quality DAB radio through a full size hi-fi system. I didn't expect an outstanding performance at this price - just something that would do the job adequately. So I was pleasantly surprised to discover just how good this cable is - especially for what is actually a bargain price. Even playing through a decent quality hi-fi no obvious weaknesses are shown up and music across a whole range of genres sparkles. Still, it's always worth looking at further improvements to performance at the cost of a modest outlay. With this in mind I've now ordered a 2x RCA Phono Female to 1x 3.5mm Male Jack Audio Adapter. Using this I'll be able to connect a pair of my existing hi-fi cables to the radio. These adapters are very inexpensive (but hopefully of adequate quality) and I'm looking forward to seeing what the results will be from trying this approach. Whatever the result the cable reviewed is very good and should take some beating.

Have only been using these a short while and I can confidently say I'm glad I decided to go for these. The cable is pretty thick and seems quite well made. Not just well made for £4, but well made in general. Sound quality is good. You plug it in and away you go. The only negatives I would suggest is the packaging it comes in - it's a clear plastic bag with a piece of paper naming the product inside it; but I'm sure you're not looking to buy an audio cable just because it has nice packaging, are you? And as a few others have suggested the red and black labels are the wrong way round, but you just swap them over and the problem is solved. We'll have to see how long it will last considering it was quite cheap, but I have a feeling it'll last as long at the £25 Monster one it's replacing; going by my initial impressions anyway.

I've tried 2 cables before this one and I can confirm that for its price, it is a great value - you get great quality for the price. I'm a multimedia engineer and I've tested different cables, obviously you will get the prof. ones but only at 7 times more the price you'd pay for this and the quality difference is Not 7x times better. From all available cables in this price range, this seems to be the giving less signal retainer/loss and more accurately transfer the signal unaltered. Hope this helps someone that cares about their sound system, you might have good speakers, and amplifier including good sound generation at input, but you need good connections and this cable is one of those specially for the input signal which is very low/sensitive one, you need a more thicker cable, so that the loss would be minimum (especially when you have longer distances to cover).

Don't be fooled by the union flag and the designed in the UK logos. This product is made in China.

This is a well-made and very useful cable. On one end is a 3.5mm stereo jack (as is typical on, say, headphones). On the other end are two standard phono inputs (as are used, for example, to connect stereo equipment to a Hi-Fi unit). While this cable may be used for several purposes, I bought it so that I can connect my MP3 / laptop / smartphone to my music centre. The 3.5mm jack plugs into the device (e.g. a laptop, inserting into the headphone input), while the phono inputs connect to the 'auxiliary' on my amplifier (in exactly the same way that, say, a CD player connects). Once the cable is in place, the sound from the device - e.g. the laptop - can now be played through the music centre. So, for instance, I can listen to Spotify via my laptop through my Hi-Fi unit. This allows for a much improved audio quality experience. Any device that takes a 3.5mm jack is applicable. I'm aware that the cable can work in the other direction ... so you could send music to a laptop or MP3, etc., from a Hi-Fi unit. So, for example, you might want to download you old vinyl LP's. As such, this is a very handy item. Highly recommended.

Cable analógico de buena calidad y se escucha bien, sin interferencias ni ruidos. Lo uso para conectar un ordenador a un amplificador Pioneer.

Compré este cable para poder conectar mi tableta al receptor A/V y así escuchar Spotify por los altavoces de mi sistema de sonido en vez de los del ordenador. El cable es lo suficientemente largo (3m) como para poder usar la tableta desde el sofá, y por los 10 euros que me costó es de buena calidad. Los conectores de metal y contactos chapados en oro además del cable en sí robusto aportarán la durabilidad que buscaba, ya que en términos de sonido el conector 3,5mm será el cuello de botella de la tableta/ipod que se use. Producto perfecto para conectar un dispositivo pequeño que solo tenga salida 3,5mm (de auriculares) a altavoces externos/receptor A/V con entrada RCA. P.D. Se envió desde el Reino Unido, pero aún así llegó rápidamente.

Los conectores vienen blindados y de una calidad excelente, lo mismo el cable, de buen grosor, no esos que parecen de auriculares de tren. Lo tengo conectado y no hay ruidos de ningún tipo, y eso que pasa entre un montón de cables. Envío rápido, muy bien envuelto. Totalmente recomendable.

Desde hace muchos años, sigo el consejo que me dio un compañero de escuela, cuanto mas dorado sean los componentes, mejor será el producto; y nunca ha fallado. En este caso, por muy poco mas eliges estos magnifico cables de audio que yo uso para amplificar la música de mi iPhone con el Home cinema. Los recomiendo.

Este cable es elegante en sus acabados y proporciona una buena calidad de sonido. Recomendable frente a otras opciones más baratas pero que ofrecen menos calidad u otras más caras frente a los que no percibiría diferencias en el audio.
