I bought this in Autumn of 2024, exclusively to run headless around the house, so that I could observe the overall condition of the house and act accordingly with repairs or cleaning. Today was the first time I opened the shipping box it came in. I've just been too busy with the new home, had forgotten about it, found it recently, and finally got around to using it for the first time. Assembly was simple and straightforward. Getting the control box and drone synced took only a second. Turned up the speed to take off...and the troubles began. It is seriously difficult to control in winds less than 5 mph. Sometimes it took several seconds for the drone to start its four motors. If a single blade of grass was blocking one or more rotors, that rotor wouldn't spin-up. Directional controls lagged so much that course corrections were very difficult to make, even when the light wind died down for the moment. The Obstacle Avoidance feature was a joke, evidence being it crashed into a tree on its way out to wherever the wind was taking it. By the way, battery registered as being fully charged when plugged into a charging USB-C port. Finally, operating this headless would be impossible, as the phone holder can't extend out and securely hold my Motorola Moto Edge phone. Since I didn't buy this for in-home use--not advisable without rotor blade guards--the product is useless. Now the drone is permanently lost to me. There is no safe way to recover it, because of where it crashed landed. It wouldn't have mattered, whether shortly after receiving it or now, it would have been lost on the first light wind. This was for me a waste of money. None of these small drones can operate under 'normal' N.E., USA weather. I can't recommend this drone for outdoor use, certainly not for in-home flying.

Purchased to learn to fly a drone. Flys well and responds well. The bad is that it will not connect to phone, so that means no videos or pictures. I knew it was a budget drone but expected everything to work. Its a good training drone and nothing more.
