This is a game changer! I never thought I’d find a product to make my long thick hair manageable and beautiful. And the after effect.. wow, 2 days later it’s still curled and looks amazing! It did take me a minute to figure out how to use it, but once I read the instructions, it was simple and quick.. normally takes me about 45 minutes to curl my hair with a straightener, but this took me 20. The tool itself is not hot to handle, so no need to worry about burning your face or neck. This is a great product and can’t wait to see what else I can accomplish.

Bought this for my teenage daughter and she loves it. The automatic rotating barrel makes it really simple to use, even for someone still learning. Creates beautiful curls without a lot of effort or risk of burning her hands. Heats up quickly and holds the curl well throughout the day. Would definitely recommend for teen girls or anyone who wants great results without the learning curve of a traditional curling iron.

This curling iron is the best I’ve ever had. It is so easy to use. My tweens love it because it is so easy to use and you don’t have the chance of getting burnt while using it like a regular curling iron. It heats up fast once you plug it in, it’s ready to use very quickly. There are 3 different heat functions. You just put your hair in the slot and press the button. Then it beeps to take your hair out. Then voila, perfect curls! Doesn’t take as long as a typical curling iron. Also has a nice safety feature (along with the burn protection) that it stops if your hair starts to get tangled. So no more getting hair tangled either. This is just the perfect curling iron for kids and adults.

I like this curling iron overall. It is easy to use, lightweight, and the automatic rotating feature makes curling my hair much simpler. I was hoping for bigger, fuller curls, so the curl size was not exactly what I expected. It gives more of a styled wave/curl rather than the fatter curls I had in mind. That said, it still works well and does a nice job once you get used to it. I also like that it is portable and dual voltage, which makes it good for travel. Overall, it is a nice curler — just know the curl result may be a little different depending on the look you want.

Ok, so recently I've been bombarded with ads for this thing. I tend to not believe ads but I was intrigued... My hair is thick and straight and doesn't take or hold a curl well. I've never been a girlie-girl so fussing with my hair or using a bunch of products to get my hair perfect is out of the question. I'm also getting older so my agility and coordination are not what they used to be. The automatic function of this curling tool is what got my attention - that and the enclosed barrel that won't burn my head or fingers. So I went to YouTube to see actual reviews by actual people not affiliated with or sponsored by TYMO. I watched probably 15-20 videos and finally decided to take the plunge. The day this arrived was day two after washing my hair. I didn't know if slightly oily hair would work but decided to give it a try anyway, and OH. MY. GOD!!!! I am SO HAPPY I bought this! It was relatively easy to use (remember - not a girlie-girl!) and the results were amazing! The hardest part was finding the groove in the mirror (remember - NOT coordinated!) but even while getting the hang of it I was able to touch every part of the wand and barrel without burning myself. The button that changes the rotation of the barrel is genius. It took me about 20-25 minutes to do my whole head of chest length hair. The curls lasted through that day even after a nap (remember - I'm old!), through sleeping on them that night, and were still wavy through the next day. I could've gotten at least another day out of them had I started with clean hair, but by day 4 I was feeling gross, even if my hair didn't look gross. The only con I've experienced so far after using this for about 2 weeks is that my bangs are too short and consist of mostly stick-straight coarse gray hairs that are extremely difficult to curl. I tend to end up with one large curl that wants to flop back into my face. If I was more adept at using product I could probably fix that. Right now I'm back combing and spraying to get them to stay in place. When they grow out a bit it shouldn't be a problem. All the videos I watched had women with long hair or all one length hair so I didn't see any that showed how to handle bangs. I'll have to go watch again... but in the meantime, the pros WAY outweigh that one minor con. I'm really happy with this purchase. It really DOES work like the ads say... amazingly. I haven't used any heat shield or other products to enhance or keep the curls and they stay just fine. I've since ordered heat shield just to protect my hair, so we'll see if that changes anything with the longevity of the curls. If you're on the fence - GET IT! With the Amazon free return policy you're not out anything if you don't like it.

AMAZING! This is my new styling tool! It was so easy and I mean that because I don’t know how to curl my own hair with a typical curling iron. This is so beginner friendly and a time saver. My hair comes out perfect every time and I don’t have to worry about burning myself or looking like a mess afterwards. Just curl your hair, brush the curls out so they are not so tight, and add whatever product you want and voilà perfect curls! I will recommend to all my girlfriends.

Great value and easy to use. After using it for about 10 minutes it does slow down or malfunction. I did have to turn it off and back on. I have a lot of hair and I am guessing it was not to be on as long as 30 minutes. Never tangles my hair very safe and quick! The temperature and speed is about 20 seconds and beautiful curls!

Absolutely love this curler!! I’ve tried so many before and none of them really worked for me, but this one is amazing. It’s so easy to use, gives such pretty curls, waves and makes my hair look done in no time. The curls come out smooth, bouncy, and actually last. I’m so happy I finally found one that works, definitely 5 stars from me!
