Sturdy and reliable treadmill
I’ve had my treadmill for close to 6 months now and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Assembly was relatively easy. The product was super heavy so it took two of us to assemble, and there was one screw where it seemed like the thread was housed upside down on the machine to where we had to skip that single screw, but the product is still extremely sturdy and stable despite that. We opted to not purchase the ifit membership and are still able to enjoy plenty that the machine has to offer in manual mode. It has a great display that shows you visually and percentage wise how far you are through each lap, it’s easy to adjust speed and incline both on the screen and with buttons on the frame, and it gives you a nice summary report with averages after each run. Overall a great product!

A very good treadmill
This is a great treadmill. It is the first treadmill I've ever owned, so I did a good bit of research before the purchase. It fell within my parameters of good quality, not overly expensive, and not a crazy amount of features to worry about. It's a very sturdy machine. Two people are needed for assembly; if you follow the directions, it is easy, just take your time when you go through it. I walk on it every day (sometimes some light jogging) using various speeds and elevations, and the functions work well. The ifit programs are great; I have not used it in "manual" mode yet. It is large and heavy, so make sure you assemble it where you want it because it's not easy to move after. I don't fold mine up because it has a dedicated space in my basement. Overall, I am very happy with it and would recommend it.

A great treadmill at an affordable price!
My wife and I found that we weren't getting the exercise we needed and decided to buy a treadmill. After much research and visiting stores to try them out, we decided to buy this NordicTrack T Series 6.5. We had the Amazon team assemble and set it up and they did a great job. The treadmill was simple to use and the display panel easy to read. My wife likes the versatility of the programs, so it never gets boring. The controls are intuitive and I found that the movements (starting the belt and using the incline) were smooth. The fact that it folds ups to a fairly small footprint was a bonus because it allowed us to place it in a spare bedroom so we could fold it away when guests are staying. It is very sturdy and I believe this will last many years. This was a great choice for us!

Nordic T6.5s - Nice Treadmill
UPDATE 9 MONTHS LATER: The TM has been perfect and I really like it. I did look into what kind of lube to use, and don't know why the manual says not to use silicone because that is exactly what you are supposed to use on this particular model - 100% silicone. (Some super expensive gym type models use walking belts that never need lubing from what I understand and you should not use silicone on those, but for this model, silicone is exactly what Nordic says to use if you contact them.) So I have been lubing it monthly since I got it, but how often you do this depends in part on how many miles you log weekly or monthly. But I am 100% happy and really glad I got it, and not a different brand. My Usage: only manual mode - no programs and no iFit, so can't speak to those. I'm also not a runner. I walk in the 2.2 - 3.2 mph range with level 2 to full incline for 20-45 min once a day. I am the only user. My last Nordic TM lasted 20+ years and that's the only reason I overpaid for this one ($799 and with tax closer to $900). IMO this TM should be $679 - the 2023 Black Friday price - all the time. But know I can get parts for it over the years and keep it going, but still; being overpriced is one reason for knocking off a star. In tandem with that it has to be assembled (price should reflect this but doesn't). So many TMs today come pre-assembled. I don't mind assembling something, but would mind it much less at $679. That said the assembly was fairly easy as long as you have your own socket/ratchet, etc tools and don't use the suggested ones. Also helps to have watched a few YT vids on how to assemble it. I did it alone without help. Final reason for taking off a star is the funky dot matrix display. I know many TM's have this, but it's ugly and dated... like all the way back to 1200 baud modem and floppy disk days. When will TMs have nice LED screens like cell phones? On the pro side, it's at least quite large and has all the data you need. The Settings are funky to get through too, but once set, really won't need to bother with them. Otherwise I like how there are buttons for everything you need (MPH and incline) so you don't have to press the - or + buttons overmuch. The box arrived absolutely pristine and looked brand spankin' new like Scotty had transported it directly from the packer to my garage. Not a scratch or blemish on it. The interior was also well packed. I read many reviews of people who received cracked or broken plastic trim parts. Not so in my case. The beautiful condition it arrived in took some of the sting out of the price. Once together I bypassed iFit then tested it without getting on it. The belt was too far left and made a rubbing noise on the trim. I adjusted it to center until it was quiet; then loosened it slightly on both sides because after centering it, it was a little tighter than the 2-3 inches the manual calls for. So some minor adjusting. (When I first turned it on it went to the highest incline position on its own, then immediately went back down and stopped. I knew it was calibrating itself so just let it do that.) The noise factor is similar to my last Nordic. I wouldn't call it a quiet machine or put it in a bedroom if people will be trying to sleep while you use it, but it's not annoying either. I listen to music over a stereo system (not the TM's speakers) and so I don't notice it. Like my last Nordic, the motor does change pitch a little with every step, as if the weight makes it work a little harder (I'm of average weight at 160). The console is much larger than expected. It makes the TM look pretty darn big. Not an issue for me since it's in the garage. I did order a "fully-opened" cover for it from Amazon (vs a cover that only fits when the TM is folded up). There have been some reviews saying it would not run on a 15A circuit. From what I gather, newer circuits (i.e. found in newer houses) are made differently than the very old ones. I live in a house built in the 1950s and the TM is on a 15A circuit along with a bunch of other stuff and it works fine, but maybe part of that is that I am not pushing it at high speeds, IDK. But it runs smooth, the buttons are responsive, and it does what it's supposed to. As long as it keeps doing that I'll be happy enough. If I run into problems, will update this review. One thing that bothers me is it says in the manual not to use silicone on the belt, that it's pre-lubed. That's fine for now, but if belts aren't regularly lubed they will wear the deck too, (and put drag on the motor). then you'll need a new deck AND belt... and might burn out the motor in the process. Maybe Nordic doesn't mind because then they can sell more parts that way, but there should have been a schedule included for how often to lube it, and what lube to use. Instead I will have to take time to research that myself. Bottom line: Would I recommend it? At $679 absolutely. At $799 you can find cheaper ones that do the same thing, but whether or not those will last as long, or if parts will be available down the road, who knows... I wanted to stick with Nordic - not because they're as great as they used to be - but because they seemed like a safer bet than newer brands that also had many complaints, but YMMV.

Excellent treadmill, great price, nice features
This NodricTrack T Series treadmill is an excellent mid-priced entry into the market. If you’re looking for a solid home treadmill without spending a fortune, this a fantastic option. Assembly isn't too bad - most people will be able to knock it out in under an hour, but it's extremely helpful to have another set of hands for some of the steps, and in case you need to move the box to another room after delivery (it is very, very heavy). The iFIT tech is very cool, where trainers can actually change your speed and incline for you while you're following a class, but that feature requires a subscription. Operation is very quiet and has great cushioning, also the deck is wide and long enough for large adults (I'm a 6' male runner), and it folds up super easily when you're done. All-in-all I'm very happy with the purchase and hope that it lasts me for many years.

Died 20 minutes after professional installation. (UPDATED)
I bought this for my mother, it arrived on time. No issues. I paid for the expert installation, which we had no problems. 15 minutes after the technician left, the thing stopped working. Of course I was at work, so when this occurred my mom did not know what to do. She called the tech back and he confirmed he could not figure out why it stopped. Later that evening I stopped by my moms house to see what the story was. Everything seemed to work except the belt. Now I have to call NordicTrack and see when they can send someone out. Amazon, is pretty good about offering solutions as far as returns. I was given 3 options. 1. Call Norditrack 2. Have a local repair person fix it, and they would refund me $120.00 3. Complete refund on both the unit and shipping (I would assume the 3 year maintenance plan). I am giving this 1 star because despite some of the good and bad stories, there should be no reason why this thing should have died. I am hoping I get a quick response tomorrow and we can work from there. I will update as we go along. ***************UPDATE So it was initially decided that the motor was broken on the machine by the technician who was dispatched about a week later. It took about 2 weeks to receive another motor. Add a few days to dispatch another tech at this point we are talking almost a month since the machine has arrived. (I was actually contemplating of just doing a return because it was nearing the time to pay the charge on my credit card.) Back to the story, so the tech shows up, we have the new motor, and an excited mom, I then find out that its not the motor, but the control panel. Again back to square one, another 2 weeks for delivery. Again a couple days to dispatch a technician once the part arrived. Tech arrived installed the new control panel and the machine runs, and hasn't had a problem since. Its been working with no issues for about 2 months now. Mom is happy, but I'm not really sure it was worth it. At this point I can't recommend purchasing this unit through this sales channel. Amazon was perfect but I don't know if it is Norditrack, the warehouse who holds this equipment, XPO who ships this equipment, the tech who installed this equipment... bottom line... a product was purchased for over $700 and it didn't work for almost two months from the day the transaction was completed. We weren't given anything for our troubles. Yes we weren't told "oh well sorry no refunds, all sales are final", we were offered a refund of $120 if we decided to let Norditrack off the hook and go with a local repair person, but there was nothing saying "we are sorry for what happened, the month and a half that was lost will be on us" (the company that failed to delight you as a customer). The only power as a customer is a review, to forewarn others of such an awful experience. I work in the customer service industry, so I know how hard it can be to please customers. In this case, the product offer and the services to support it were abysmal. Sincerely, Sam K.

Best Investment I've Made for My Home Gym
I've owned the NordicTrack T Series treadmill for about eight months now, and I genuinely look forward to using it every single day. Setup & Build Quality Assembly was surprisingly straightforward though I had it delivered and assembled. they had it up and running in under an hour with just the included tools. The frame feels solid and sturdy, with no wobbling or creaking even during intense interval sessions. It folds up easily when not in use Performance The motor is impressively quiet for the power it delivers. I can watch TV or take calls without cranking the volume, which was a dealbreaker with my old treadmill. The belt runs smoothly, and the speed transitions are seamless — no jarring jumps when you adjust pace mid-run. The incline feature is where this machine really shines. Going up to 12% grade has completely transformed my workouts. iFIT Integration The built-in iFIT compatibility is a game-changer. The guided trail runs and studio classes make a 45-minute workout fly by. The instructor-controlled speed and incline adjustments keep me honest and push me harder than I'd push myself. The display is crisp and responsive, with no lag. Comfort The cushioned deck genuinely reduces knee and joint fatigue compared to running outdoors on pavement. After longer runs, I notice a real difference in how my legs feel the next morning. The side rails give me confidence during high-intensity intervals or when I need a quick break. Value For the features you get — motor quality, iFIT, incline range, folding design, and cushioning — the T Series is exceptional value compared to competitors in the same price range. I've had gym memberships that cost more per year than this machine. Bottom Line The NordicTrack T Series has made consistent cardio a realistic part of my routine. No commute, no waiting for machines, no excuses. If you're serious about building a dependable home fitness setup, this treadmill belongs at the top of your list. – Verified Purchase

Good quality basic treadmill
We’ve had the treadmill for 4 months now and it has worked great. My daughter runs, I jog and my wife walks on it. It feels sturdy and the incline works well. It doesn’t seem to be overly loud as I can still watch TV while jogging. I don’t know of any features that it doesn’t have that I’m missing. We do not use any of the apps. Seems like a very good value treadmill. I would recommend it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Treadmill & Amazing Value!
I bought this treadmill during an unbeatable Amazon sale (thank you Amazon!!!) and added the very reasonable Room of Choice delivery plus a 2-year Asurion warranty for peace of mind. For the price, this treadmill is unbeatable. It’s a solid, full-sized treadmill that offers speeds up to 10 MPH (I’ll never get near that top speed 😅) and inclines up to 10%, which is a great way to add intensity to walking workouts. The hydraulic lift is a nice touch that's usually only seen on much higher end models and it makes the treadmill easy to fold up - it’s surprisingly lightweight when lifting the track. I also appreciate the thoughtful design details, like the small hole in the water bottle holder that prevents puddles if your water bottle drips. I can't comment on setup as I paid for the installation - I'm not a handy person but there are Yotube videos showing the installation process for those who are handy. Also, even though there's an ad included in the treadmill box saying to sign up with iFit before turning on the treadmill, I’ve never signed up for iFit and have had zero issues—zero lag time to start my treadmill workout, no unwanted pop-ups. I just press the power button at the front base (the "reset/off" button), hit “start” on the treadmill main panel and I’m good to go. You do not need to sign up for iFit whatsoever -once the treadmill is assembled, you can just turn it on and go. I watch shows on my iPad while walking/jogging, so I wasn't interested in the iFit subscription. Now, are there a couple of things that could improve with the treadmill? Sure - it could use a pause button (there is no pause button - it's either "stop" or "start"), I do wish there was a bit more track space before the front deck starts since in the beginning I did accidentally hit my foot/sneaker on the front deck (I'm used to it now and don't walk/jog as close to the front panel), and it could have other features that higher end treadmills have....but you know what? Then the price would be in a higher tier as well. If you’re looking for a dependable treadmill at a great value, this one is a no-brainer and I'm really happy with it. Finally, a huge shout-out to the Amazon delivery team (Brar and Amrit) who managed to get this treadmill into my basement—a tough job, and they handled it like pros.

The Only Review That You Need To Read.
It’s better than expected and it’s built super sturdy. I’m 6’2 and just under 260 lbs and it does everything that I need when it comes to sturdiness, tread size and functionality. The only down side is that you have to download an App and jump through a couple hoops in order to get it started, but once you get it started it’s easy to use and a solid buy. Also, delivery was a couple days late but given the world climate right now combined with the size, I wasn’t surprised. Prior to ordering on Amazon I had tried to order a treadmill straight from Horizon Fitness after lengthy research, but after the transaction was approved, a month later I was notified that they didn’t deliver to my location in the city, and I’m not sure if that was the actual reason given the high demand for home exercise equipment. That being said, when I searched on Amazon for a treadmill almost everything was “out of stock”, and with me being a bigger dude, I needed one that had the necessary specs to handle my size in order to get a good sweat on. So after further research on manufacturers and specs, I was lucky to find this unit that satisfied all my requirements/needs with only “2 left in stock” at a reasonable price, and it was delivered straight to my door and I’m super happy with it. With all that is happening in this upside down world right now, I recognize the need to support local business but in some circumstances that is extremely difficult, and say what you will about Amazon and their success during these trying times. In my experience, with an increase in online purchases, Amazon has in place the capacity, inventory and capabilities to deliver when needed. I know that there is much controversy surrounding Amazon with their employee practices and their social, environmental and political impacts as well, but given the current world climate Amazon has continued to deliver consumer goods and necessities in a timely fashion in order to provide some semblance of normalcy during these trying times and I can respect that. That being said, I also believe that Amazon has the ability, the resources and the social responsibility to do more to help their hard working employees and their worldwide community of consumers/supporters as many local businesses that support their communities are currently struggling to stay alive while Amazon thrives. In conclusion, you can tell that I have some extra time on my hands given the length of this review, and with the current world climate, home exercise equipment is as, if not more popular during a pandemic than toilet paper. If you’re lucky enough to be able to get one of these units given the current supply and demand... enjoy! Moreover, if you’ve read this far into this review, to quote the legendary Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod, “stay fit and stay safe!”

Great Treadmill, But a Nightmare Delivery Experience
The NordicTrack T 6.5 S is a sturdy, well-built treadmill that offers a smooth and quiet running experience. The motor runs quietly even at higher speeds, and the deck provides decent cushioning, making it joint-friendly. It feels stable during use—no wobbling or creaking—which is impressive for a treadmill in this price range. That said, installation was moderately difficult due to the treadmill's weight and awkward assembly steps. It’s definitely a two-person job. Moving it around is no joke—it’s heavy and bulky, so plan accordingly if you need to take it upstairs or into tight spaces. Now, the Room-of-Choice delivery experience via Amazon was absolutely pathetic and disappointing. There was no prior call or coordination, and the delivery team arrived unannounced. They walked into my home with dirty shoes and no shoe covers, showing a total lack of professionalism. Worse, they were ill-equipped to handle a heavy item. They dragged the treadmill box across my entryway, scratching the floor in the process. When asked to take it upstairs, they refused, saying it was too heavy and offered to drag it—something I declined to avoid damage. I eventually had to help them move it myself, which defeats the purpose of a paid delivery service. To make matters worse, when I contacted Amazon about the poor delivery and property damage, their response was unhelpful and dismissive, offering no real resolution or accountability. Compared to this, Costco's delivery service is miles better—timely, respectful, and well-equipped. As for the tech features, while the treadmill is iFit-compatible, the iFit experience itself is not essential. Unless you're really into subscription-based guided workouts, it's more of a gimmick. You can use the treadmill perfectly well without iFit, and most of the core functionality works just fine without it.
