I first started using this when I was backpacking around the world in the '90s. Was great for that but when I'd get home I'd return to foam. Finally realized this worked just as well at home as on the road. A bottle lasts me about a year, shaving every 2 or 3 days and no mess and feels good. Just need hot water to clean the razer blades.
