Perefct in every way
I bought this ax and was seriously impressed. Heavy duty with a beautiful leather cover—and they even included the tools to sharpen it. The ax has a solid weight, but it’s not too heavy for a woman to handle comfortably. The grip is fantastic—it fits perfectly in your hand, making it easy to swing with control. The set came with a sharpening stone and oil, which shows the company really went the extra mile. Quality item all around. I’d definitely recommend it. You can officially call me Lumber Jane!

Head of axe loosened after about 100 strikes.
This axe looks awesome and performs really well at splitting logs. But axe head started to loosen pretty bad after about 100 hits. Thankfully I know how to seat the head again quickly but still 100 hits is not much compared to other axes I have. But overall still really like the axe when the head is on tight.

Handle broke on day two of use.
The haft broke in the first weekend of splitting wood. This was a gift for my husband. He was so pleased with the craftsmanship, and design he showed it off to several people before using it. Upon using it he was thrilled with the results; weight, sharpness, and ease of use. He split wood for day one and was very thrilled with the ease and efficency. Sadly, on the second day of use, the haft cracked and broke while in use, as you can see in the picture. It was used as intended, and was not used on anything but on seasoned small logs. Did an amazing job until the handle broke upon impact.

Overall a nice hatchet . It will come in handy when I am in the bush. Nice weight and feels good in my hand. Came with a sharpening stone and hatchet cover. The handle comes stained but I added three coats of spar varnish to dress it up and protect it.

My friend loved it and I was really impressed with the quality of the package and the quality of the axe. It made for a really impressive looking gift! (in the spring of 2024 I paid about $45 CAD in Canada for it)

This was a gift. The axe looks and feels great, and hopefully it performs well. Once we go camping we will get a chance to properly test, but out of box it seems good. However, the protective sheath doesn't fit. I was hoping to find customer support and get a replacement but I couldn't find any. The back strap doesn't reach when put on, and the loop for a person's belt, it'd have to be a skinny belt. I took a star off because of the sheath. If anything comes of the axe, like if it breaks after the first use I will update.

I bought this hatchet to go camping with and chop some small pieces of wood for a fire. I got ONE decent day with it on my 3 day trip, the hatchet broke on me during the second day! The blade had popped off while swinging it and damaged the handle, rendering it irreparable
