YOU NEED THIS PUMP NOWWWW!!!
I bought one haakaa pump before I had my son in August because of all the great reviews. I didnโt actually start using it until he was almost 6 weeks old, I really wished I had started using it the day I started nursing. Whether youโre full time breast feeding, bottle feeding, split feeding, this is the best thing you could ever have. I collected so much milk that would have gone to waist because I was producing way more than my newborn would eat. My let down flow would absolutely just drown him, so Iโd just put the haakaa on the breast heโs going to eat from for a minute or so, then heโs good to eat without choking. I eventually transitioned to strictly bottles because it was easier for us. I used the Medela Spectra, the manual breast pumps by Medela and Lansinoe, but this one works the best. I ended up buying another to strictly pump using only the haakaas. The way it pulls all the milk out with a continuous suction, I get more milk using these than anything Iโve ever used. I get a full 10 ounces with a 30 minute pump session using these breast pumps when Iโd only get max 8 using my electric 200 dollar breast pumps. Not only does it work better, itโs just a million times more convenient. Bringing spare cups and bottles is a lot easier than making sure you can connect to power. I use the haakaa cups almost every time I go out. If I need to pump, a quick 15-30 minute pump is all I need to get going again. Theyโre easy to wash, my husband hated washing my electric pump, but never complains when asked to wash these lol. Thereโs only a tad bit of cons that donโt nearly outweigh the pros. A con would be they donโt have a strap to save the milk from falling in your lap and spilling once the suction runs out. This is most definitely the worst thing, Iโve lost so many ounces from clumsily trying to multitask. Now I sit mostly still and keep an eye on the suction so I can adjust and pour when needed. The other con which I wouldnโt really say is a con, is you have to replace them more often. With an electrical youโd have to replace all millions of pump pieces every three months or less depending on usage. These pumps, you have to replace them once the silicone becomes cloudy. This takes a while to happen, but it will eventually in about 2-3 months. Judging how easily these are to clean, using a soft sponge will make your pumps last a lot longer, but either way being hundreds of dollars less than an electrical pump, this is definitely where to invest. I also bought the lady bug collection cups in hopes of losing less milk when Iโm too busy to pump. If my breasts are leaking, I can just pop those on really quickly, they fit the best in a nursing or sports bra. Iโm obsessed with saving every drop for my baby, haakaa really really knows how to help with that. Just please please please make safety lanyards for your collection cups so less milk gets waisted for clumsy moms ๐ฅน Thank you!!!!

Perfect to catch let down when nursing!
I purchased the Haakaa as a way to catch my let down because I was leaking EVERYWHERE! I was recommended this from my lactation consultant and it has been a game changer. I originally got the one Haakaa with the ladybug combo to try it out since my other breast would drench my baby and myself while nursing. But now I purchased a second Haakaa because I noticed that my now more alert little one (~1 mth) loves to wake up to me pumping with my Spectra 2 (great electrical pump). I recommend purchasing two Haakaa's for both let down and if your pump eventually bothers your baby. Note: The ladybug needs to be placed in a bra to work and it's a little uncomfortable for me. But will probably be more useful once I am out the house. How I use the product: - Nursing: I use it on my bare breast without a bra when nursing. When nursing it stays on rather well except sometimes my baby likes to kick it off but it depends on your nursing position. - Pumping: I usually only pump one breast at a time with my electrical pump, so I use the one Haakaa to catch the let down from the other breast before I get to it. Then I pour whatever let down I get into the pump bottles directly. *I haven't used it as a true manual pump often but it works as advertised if you follow the attachment process. For my purpose, I typically just gently squeeze the bottom while sitting and suction it on. Pros: - Quiet - Collects let down - Can position out of the way so my little one isn't soaked in milk from the non nursing side - Can be used as a pump - Cheaper than electrical Cons: - A little painful due to high suction - Can fall off easily if moving (i.e. use when sitting down or secure/hold it in place when walking) - Probably need to buy a set if replacing electrical pump or collecting let down - Can tip over if not careful - Can fall off if filled too much Tips: - When removing the Haakaa from my breast the bottom lip usually drips a little bit of milk onto me. I usually prepare and hold a washcloth under before removing it off my breast. - My cactus bottle brush set I got on Amazon doesn't fit through the neck which is not this products fault. Although, it can be a consideration for those who wish to clean the Haakaa with a similar product. Overall: I love using this product and it's made my breastfeeding/pumping journey easier and more enjoyable. I recommend this for any first time mom!

One of the best tools that helped me when I started breastfeeding. In my experience its a must for the first weeks when one can have an oversupply, you can collect from one breast while feeding form the other. I built such a stash just doing that in the beginning before my supply got stablished. Its easy to clean and the suction is good and adjustable to your comfort and the suction you want.

Saved my breastfeeding journey
I wasnโt able to breastfeed with my first due to latch issues and wanted to try again with my second who arrived last month. We started off strong initially, but had a weight dip early on and I needed to supplement a bit in order to continue breast-feeding. I pumped exclusively with my first and it really reduced my quality of life and I wasnโt willing to do that again with my second. My doctor recommended using the Haaka during feeds so that I could supplement with breastmilk and continue to breastfeed. We are now five weeks in and breastfeeding is going strong and we no longer need to supplement. The Haaka made this possible for me and truly saved my breastfeeding journey because of its ease and my ability to use it during feeds to collect milk that I could use to supplement. Itโs an incredible product for the price and I canโt recommend it enough.

Simple, effective, and a daily staple
I use the Haakaa manual breast pump every single day and it has been one of the most useful breastfeeding tools I own. Itโs incredibly simple, but it works really well for what itโs designed to do. I mostly use it to collect letdown from the opposite breast while feeding my baby. Instead of letting that milk go to waste, the Haakaa catches it easily. Over time it really adds up, and Iโve been able to save a good amount of milk just from using it during regular feeds. One thing I really like is how soft the silicone is. It feels high quality and comfortable, and the suction is strong enough to stay in place while still being easy to attach and remove. Once you get the hang of how to put it on properly, it works very reliably. The only downside is that the standard version doesnโt have a suction base, which means it can be knocked over if you set it down on a surface. Iโve definitely had a few moments where I have cried over spilled milk. Because of that, you just have to be a little careful where you place it. That said, itโs still something I use every day and would absolutely recommend to anyone breastfeeding. Itโs simple, effective, easy to clean, and a great way to collect milk that would otherwise be lost. Even with the small drawback, itโs been a really valuable tool in my breastfeeding routine.

Easy to use, strong suction, not expensive
This was raving all over social media right before I had my first baby. So I bought this in 2023. I used it every single feeding. As a FTM I had no clue what I was doing, if it was good, how to do it properly all the things. As a second time mom I feel like I know a little more this time around with these manual pumps and Iโd love to give my feedback for any other mamas out there looking for some help/advice. Overall This product is a good manual easy way to pump/start to express milk or catch a letdown (without a hard suction light squeeze) Pros: *easy to use- I will mention sometimes for me Iโd have to adjust it a few times to get it around my nipple and areolaโs in the right spot. Or my milk wouldnโt come out properly. *lightweight/ very convenient to take anyplace *quiet/ no cords or machine *works very very well * holds a good amount of milk *not expensive *last a long time for good use Cons: *Baby would kick it off if trying to use during a feeding (cradle position) and if I would get up or move it looses suction I would have to hold it when I walk. *suction is VERY strong- it would be painful most the time and even sometimes it wouldnโt get all my milk out because it doesnโt reach closer to my nipple. So self express had to be done as well. *over supply/nipple stimulation- I believe this pump made me an over suppler with my first because I would use it each feed (every hour) for months because of cluster feeding. This time around I use it here and there because I didnโt want an over supply. And I notice a huge difference. *tips over easily ( thatโs why I bought another with a lid and suction on bottom)

Shrinkflation strikes again (2x buyer)
I have purchased this product twice for pumping after two pregnancies (2022 and 2025). It was by far the best silicone breast pump I used (Iโve probably tried 4 different brands now since theyโre all relatively affordable at less than $20-$15). I really like that these work without any active pumping and just rely of the suction created by the initial squeeze and seal. I generally alternate baby on one side and pump on the other each feeding and itโs been really effective for me to keep my supply steady and baby fed- and I donโt even ever really need to use the pumped milk. I think some other reviewers may be confused about how this product works based on their comments, but if it helps anyone- know that you donโt actively squeeze and release this product to pump milk out, it just does it like a suction cup on glass (but not lol). All that said, I canโt give it five stars and my main point in writing this is that the product has changed between the last three years. The one I purchased in 2022 was at least a full 2 grams heavier (73g vs 71g) than what I purchased in 2025. This is a big difference for a product of this size made entirely of silicone. It was the quality, thickness and sturdiness that made the Haakaa so much better than the competitors, but it seems they have opted to reduce the most important aspects of the product to either increase profits or mask rising production costs and keep the consumer price stable (but for an inferior product). I was so disappointed when I realized this because the 2022 version was so good. Mine even works better than the competitors and 2025 haakaa after my dog chewed off part of the opening- not kidding. I could still recommend this product generally but itโs only marginally better than others now and if thereโs any return buyers- know the product is not quite the same

Genial

Product good, delivery at Dubai very bad
Product is amazing, it helps to pump milk very fast and easy. However, in Dubai delivery company confused flat number and I had to search from neighbour my package.

A must buy for breastfeeding mothers!
Honestly the best thing for breastfeeding and I have recommended them over and over. I simply put it on the 'spare' boob when I was feeding from the other and it caught the let down. Suctions well so no worry about it falling off as long as you follow the instructions. Honestly, wouldn't go without and had to buy another during my breastfeeding journey.
