Waveshare Solar Power Management Module, Solar Charge Controller USB, for 6V~24V Solar Panel Multi Protection Circuits Suited for Low-Power IoT and Other Environmental Protection Projects

Using this module in a small IoT weather station project and it has worked well so far. The board is compact, well-built, and the USB output is steady. Setup required some reading through the documentation but once I understood the pin layout it was straightforward. It pulls good power from a small 6V panel and the multi-protection circuits have saved me from a few accidental shorts during prototyping. The only reason I am not giving five stars is that setup documentation could be clearer for beginners, and I did have to do extra research to get the most out of it. For experienced makers though, this is a solid board at a fair price.

Das Modul funktioniert. immer nur in Verbindung mit einer Solarfläche. Der Accu wird geladen. Die Ladedauer und Ladequalität hängt von der Solarfläche und den Standort des Solarpanels ab. Es ist für Bastler ideal um Projekte ohne Netzstrom zu realisieren dabei aber den Accu nicht ständig austauschen zu müssen, weil er leer ist. Man kann das Modul weiter empfehlen, sollte aber bedenken, das der Ladezustand des Accus nicht gleichbleibend gut ist.

Bought two, in the hope that at least one does the job. Whatever it is made for, for sure not for charging at an solar panel.

Perfect solar panel manager for my application. I don't use the onboard 14500 battery holder. I use the PH2.0 connector to charge a 18650 Li-ion battery 3,7V. It works very well with my solar panel, which is 18V 50W. I am very satisfied
