My husband, now age 74, does not take this remedy weekly and has, gotten the 'initial' warnings of the flu. When he does, I then give him 3 doses....12 hours apart. If he takes it at the beginning of the symptoms, 12 hours later and then again 12 hours later, by the next day he feels fine. When my children were in high school, I gave them 3 doses (in the same manner) if they were exposed to someone with the flu. If they got symptoms, they recovered quickly. HOWEVER!!! If one waits until the flu symptoms have taken hold, this remedy will not give the same results. Although, taken as directed, it may lessen the symptoms or shorted the duration. I would not count on that for myself. Washington Homeopathics does have a remedy (INFLUENZIUM 12C) for the flu. I have some of this in case my husband does not catch the initial symptoms.
