HITIME XVX Shine Through Keycaps with IMD Tech, Custom Keycaps 60 75 100 Percent, White Key Cap Set OEM Profile,118 Keys Side Printed for Mechanical Keyboard, Topographic

This keyboard is great. Interestingly enough, I saw what I thought was an exactly identical product for about $10 cheaper so I got that. Turns out there are small differences worth noting depending on your preferences: These "HITIME" keycaps have a nice GLOSSY finish, are HIGH-PROFILE (like a traditional IBM or old school keyboard), but with OEM ergonomic curvature to the rows. The front/south-facing TEXT is more CRISP, & TRANSPARENT for shine-thru light to be brighter, but SMALLER than the following keycaps. Also the packaging box looks great, but the plastic trays are rows where keys slide along whole row, so as someone new to switching keycaps and diligent about it, I found this less helpful when switching them out. Includes a more mechanical METAL keycap REMOVAL TOOL which i found harder to use. "SDYZ" keycaps, also listed with package branding for "XVX" but in fact different packaging. These seem more CHEAPLY MADE- there's a slight TEXTURE to them, and front/south-facing text isn't as crisp or transparent. However, the slight texture isn't a detraction and may be preferable, more TACTILE feel. While the text isn't as crisp, i rarely look at it with lifetime of muscle memory typing. However the text is LARGER so I can easily see it at a quick glance, which is more helpful for my worse eyesight. They're LOW-PROFILE, so I feel i can type FASTER with them. The plastic trays had INDIVIDUAL "HOMES" for every keycap which made it easier to keep track while switching them. The removal tool is a PLASTIC O-ring top that i find easier to use. Ultimately, the other low-profile keycaps with larger text, better trays, & better removal tool outweigh the nicer finish & crisper text of these keycaps. For both sets, I love the wave design (combined with RGB pattern that is like rolling waves of light). However with both products the design of the lower right keys seems lazy- a repetitive design that doesn't align nor match style of the main artwork. I ended up replacing them with some of the extra unused keycaps, to not have the repetitive pattern there. Oh! Also the 2nd alternate ones included 4 extra keys with small images on top that are cute and helpful for SPECIAL KEYS like ESC or CALCULATOR. The alt product is here fyi. https://a.co/d/0fSYMw7I

Absolutely love the HITIME x XVX Kanagawa Keycaps—these completely transformed my keyboard setup. The design is stunning, with a sleek black aesthetic and subtle Kanagawa-inspired lines that really stand out, especially when the backlighting shines through. The side-printed legends give it a super clean, modern look while still being easy to read. The build quality is top-tier. The IMD tech makes the keycaps feel durable and resistant to wear, so I’m confident they’ll hold up over time without fading. They have a smooth, premium texture that feels great for both typing and gaming.

Such a clean keycap set. Super bright, super durable, they sound amazing on an aluminum case. They don't feel v cheap. Great valure for ur money. They give u a lot of keycaps, so if u have a 61 key keyboard, then ur going to have a lot of extra keycaps. I got the spiderweb design, but sometimes it looks like a marble design.

Let's start with the good, If you want a quality mechanical keyboard with large print and shine-through, these are the only game in town as far as I could find. The lighting confuses my iPhone camera a bit, but the overall aesthetic is pretty epic! Unfortunately, there are several issues to be aware of. 1. My set came with several extra keys, but was missing the ~. 2. The set comes with an F-row, but the F-row doesn't have the secondary legends, so if you want to preserve that info, you're stuck with your stock keycaps for that row. 3. The secondary legends on the number-row, which are the detail you're more likely to need to check visually, are actually smaller than the ones on my standard laptop keyboard. Making the secondary function legends larger and the number legends a bit smaller would actually be more ergonomic. 4. The number row =/+ key legends are reversed relative to the standard, and I'm not sure how to change that in software. 5. The number pad slash is oriented incorrectly as well, this can easily be fixed by rotating the keycap, but the beveled shape also means that you'll be able to feel that one of these keys is not like the others when typing. If these keycaps had competition I might suggest trying it, but they don't. If you want large print backlit keys on a quality mechanical keyboard base, the vast majority of these keycaps are great, and depending on your keyboard size, you might not run into the issues I did. Just be aware of the potential shortcomings before purchase.

These key caps are BEAUTIFUL! The shine through works great for north facing or south facing LEDs. I’m using mine on an Aula F99 keyboard and they work stunningly well! The sound these guys put off is very satisfactory and the design on the top is very flattering. I love the letters and numbers being on the side. It looks much nicer than the average key caps with top letters. The tread on the main keys is a great feature, and quite honestly, was the breaking point for me to purchase these exact ones. I’ve been using these now for a good 6 months. The white doesn’t stain or discolor. The key caps are holding up VERY well, they honestly look brand new. I didn’t take a photo of them when I first got them, so the photo you’re seeing is after 6 months or so of use. The size fits well on most keyboards. Any keyboards that have the hot swap keys will work with these key caps. I feel as though these will last a lifetime as well as they’ve done so far. Definitely worth the money spent.

These keycaps completely transformed my keyboard! The spider web pattern glows beautifully under my RGB lighting, making my setup look super cool and spooky. The material feels sturdy and premium, and the keys have a great texture that’s comfortable to type on. Installation was easy, and the set fits perfectly with my 75% layout. Definitely a standout accessory for anyone wanting to add personality to their keyboard. Highly recommend!

Works perfectly with my k617 %60 redragon keybord and it comes with extra keys that i might need!!

Keycaps look cool and unique, but it is very difficult to see some of the letters / symbols / numbers even when lighting is turned to max or even in daytime. This takes some getting used to, and in reality does not look exactly like the photos used. Sounds and feels great, premium keycap feel. Finish leans towards glossy rather than a matte feel, but still has some texture for grip. Easy to set up and install, and have held up great for 3+ months.
