It is a good size - not too heavy, yet large enough to do quite a few plants. It is made well and has a good balance. The spout produces a nice "rain like" effect. I just used it. Here are my immediate thoughts:PROsturdy and well designed yet inexpensiveholds 2 gallons - it's heavy but it's mostly water weight - the plastic "can" is extremely lighttwo handles - nice touchCON: the water gets used up FAST. I have a one-gallon plastic "can" which has a slimmer spout and a smaller, more "delicate" rose (smaller holes, less holes). I feel like I have much better control with the 1-gallon, and in fact, I feel like the water lasts a lot longer. I figured the extra weight of the 2-gallon would be balanced by not having to constantly refill. However, I found myself refilling this MORE OFTEN than my 1-gallon. I let my large established plants fend for themselves - I'm mainly watering seedlings and transplants that need TLC - even with a rose, the spray feels forceful and some of the seedlings bent from the force.
