Has a finger knob on handle, don’t like that, I cut it off. My old ugly stick did not have that.

Haven’t fished with it yet but it’s all setup with my Zebco 33 Platinum reel. The quality is exactly what I expected based on my visual inspection. I have other Ugly Sticks and I really like them. I’ve have them for years.

Ordered the heavy action (20-50lbs) rod because it was the same price as a medium action at the time of purchase, this is my first heavy and im impressed so far. The reel locking nut is made of cheep plastic but its an ugly stik, they're made to be affordable. (I've never had any issues with other stiks so I dont think this one will be any different) Will update after fishin with it NOTE: other reviews state the rod arrived broken, well.. thats due to them shipping it in the clear plastic wrap like you'd see on a rod you buy in a store. (Its a 1pc I dont think Amazon has a 7' 1x1 box, so i get why its shipped that way)
