Paper Mate Write Bros. Ballpoint Pens, Medium Point (1.0mm), Blue, 12 Count - Smooth Ink, Sleek Design

I have been buying these for a long time. It used to be frustrating, though, because half of the box didn’t write. However, they must have finally fixed the problem, because so far the half that I have tested is 100% “on point!” I will continue to order these pens!!

I have a thing about blue ink, color wise, I just don't usually like black ink. And the blue in these is just perfect in my opinion. The ink takes to the paper very well, the pen draws smoothly and the 1.0 mm size is just right for my day to day uses. For the price, 12 pens are a great value. A final point, is that the shape and size of these pens is very comfortable to hold. I am100 percent satisfied with these excellent Write Bros Ballpoint Pens from Paper Mate!

Please don't consider buying these pens thinking that a few might write well. They are dried up as if they had been stored for 20 years or more. I had purchased pens previously on Amazon and they were fine, so I unfortunately failed to look at the reviews for these Paper Mate pens. Well, they must be many, many years old because they do not write. Most produced a light blue mark or two and then immediately went completely dry. I feel a little guilty returning these because they cost so little, but if no one returns the pens, then Amazon will keep selling them and whoever is selling through Amazon services continues to receive money for a product that they surely know is useless. This isn't fair to Amazon customers who rely on Amazon's great service and vast array and availability of (mostly) excellent products. The few dollars credit that I will receive will pay for my gas to the UPS store for this and a more costly return, and for a trip along the way to a retail store where I can buy some other brand of pens.

I love these pens. They work well no mess pretty on paper. I love the way they feel when they gripped against my skin no denting.

4 of the pens in the box were dried up, have not been able to get them to work. The other 6 are great, writes wonderfully.

These are just my favorite blue ink ballpoint pens. They are nothing fancy, but I love the way they write. The medium point makes for a more comfortable glide along the writing surface, and the blue ink color is subtle and professional, but vibrant enough to feel special. With all of the new innovations in pens (roller-ball, gel, funky grips), these pens still impress me. They are comfortable to write with, and they have a smooth feel and sturdy ball point. They are the perfect classic pen, exactly like I remember them from when I was a kid. I recommend these to anyone who used them back in the day and thought they were great - they still are! And to anyone who wants a good, inexpensive pen. For those with less sentimentality, these might not be very impressive. But I like to think that sentiments aside, these are darn good pens.

Very smooth and comfortable grip

These are my go to staple pens as they are super affordable especially as add-on items through Amazon. They work out to about a quarter a piece even after taxes, so losing them is not an issue. These are very smooth and really write to the very last 3mm of ink on the barrel. They do not smudge like the gels and are thin to hold and one can even add a third party rubber or foam grip. Most of my students use these for provincial exams and in-class essays. Love them! In tutti i film americani anche non recenti usano queste penne, da noi in Italia non vanno molto, forse è per questo che è difficile trovarle, soprattutto i pacchi . Il pacco arriva dopo un po' solo perché il venditore è negli Stati Uniti. Ma per il prezzo ne vale la pena!!!
