Is there a place you can add a strap or clip to hang on clothes or object? Need to be hands free besides when need, I work outside.

Hi Kaleigh - I doubt you will need a strap or clip, this misting fan won't last long enough to clip anywhere. Unfortunately they are pretty poor quality. I bought a number of them to cool HS band kids in a parade, most did not make it through the 1 mile route. Buy something better quality or get a cheap spray bottle from Walmart or Target without the fan. Good luck..

What are the fan blades made out of?

Plastic but the shell breaks easily. Avoid

What type battery does this require?

2 double a batteries. We love these fans. Bought a few for the beach, amusement parks, etc.

What is the diameter of the bottle? Will if fit in a typical side pocket of a backpack for water bottles?

the water reservoir is about 2 3/4 inches in diameter. Height from floor to the fan part is about 6 1/2 inches.
