How is the noise cancellation on this headset?

Works good for me. I tested it with my crying baby and he couldn't be heard in the phone while on the phone at work with the headset so win for me

Why are people having trouble hearing me

Press the power button 3 times to hear yourself through the microphone and earpiece. This will allow you to hear what the other person is hearing. Open the device settings and ensure the microphone from the headset is being used as opposed the computer or phone microphone. 3rd open the camera and record a video, this will allow you are test how microphone is sounding to your system.

Are the earpads changeable?

I just tried to see and they do not appear removable
