Woodworker? These are perfect. Machinist? Can't answer.
I'm usually longer winded, but I don't know what else to say -- buy these. The quality against price is an absurd ratio that cannot be competed with. Even factory second sales are wildly more expensive for a set this nice. How square are they? I don't know exactly. But I can tell you that they're at least as square as my Starett combination and double square set. I wish I could recommend these for a machinist, but I simply don't have a mechanism for detecting square at the level a machinist would require/want. My only caution is that these are a bit on the thin side. They're not of the hefty ilk. Not something you want to leave lying around where it could potentially have a force (of some kind) throw it out of square.

Very handy and accurate squares
I checked mine against my expensive Woodpeckers square and they all were right on the money. These are steel, so do be careful of rust. Nice weight, machining, and finish. For the price, a sweet quartet of tools.

Good Machinist's Square Set But Not Stainless
Great size and well manufactured machinist's square set, pretty good value for money, however be aware that the set is not made from stainless steel as described they are made from I would think some sort of high grade steel, but you will need to keep them oiled or cleaned etc. so they do not rust, especially if used in a corrosive environment. I would have given them 5 stars if they were made from stainless steel. I would still recommend the set to anyone wanting to buy it.

Not square, many defects
Woodworking use, still not accurate enough. For machining absolutely, 100% not. None of the 4 squares are actually square, either to each other or reference squares. Some of the surfaces are not flat, as in visually not flat did not bother with gauges. The thick bases as well as the beams, thoug the bases were mostly flat. Some of the surfaces have burrs or have been hit hard enough to mushroom up causing interference. May work as an inexpensive set to "adjust" if you have a machine shop. But if you have the facilities to correct these then you probably don't need or want a cheap set anyway.

Good Value
This square set isn't going to win any beauty prize but they will get the job done. Package arrived as expected with all the signs of economical manufacturing, squares were all wrapped in plastic with a decent coating of protective oil for transportation. At first I was impressed with what I got for the money , 4 sizes of squares in their own storage case. After unwrapping and cleaning them up I was more of "content" with what I got for the money. First thing I checked was the accuracy of the square against a precision setup block and found that pretty accurate. Material used in them is definitely not a selling point, a couple of the squares have inclusions in them the foundry. Over all they will work for the job intended provided your not measuring high precision parts. Bought as an inexpensive tool for the assembly table in our shop where things can take a beating and was not willing to see an expensive precision square hit the concrete floor. My intent is for these squares to have a life expectancy and then be replaced, most likely with the same ones, so for value I'd say these are a hit.

Close, but no longer good enough...
Yeah, these are not super precision, but if you need a small square for a tight area, they are very handy. I don't use the big one very much, because it is about the same size as a 6" combination square, but the smaller ones can be very useful for squaring up clamping setups where there is not enough room for larger squares. They make it easier to do what I need to do, and I use them regularly. I go with three stars, because they are indeed not PERFECTLY square, but they are good enough for my work. Update: In a couple of situations, I have needed a more precise joint, and found I could not quite trust these squares to give it to me. I habitually flip the square over to check a clamped joint. It should be square from both sides. My very old Starrett combination square is a good standard, and always passes the flip test, but it is too big for many applications, so I am going to have to spend more money and get better squares than these. Still worth 3 stars...

Exactly what the name claims...
A square set. They are great and I believe they are stainless. For under $20, Great Job Grizzly! My Woodpecker square indicates all of the angles are exactly 90 degrees. My Starrett straight-edge indicates everything is flat. No light! Now I can put both of instruments safely away in the cabinet. One interesting item about these squares is that there is not a nominal measurement anywhere to be found. There are no edges that have any multiple of 1/64" or 0.1mm. Grizzly didn't offer measures and it almost appears they went out of their way to deliver! Oh well, I still have expensive calipers and rules for that.

Not stainless
This is a decent product, but description says stainless. They are not stainless. Once I saw a stainless version I ordered it and didn't look for another. I just don't like getting something not as described. Other than that they are decent squares

Squareness of all 4 pieces are true. Base is machined metal and the blades are machined aluminum. They appear to be solid and well made with zero movement. The only issue I found was the blade lengths. The blade on the 2" is 1/16" longer. The 3" is accurate. The 4" is 7/32" longer and the 6" is 1/4" longer. This may be limited to the set I received. For my uses this is not an issue but may be critical for those requiring accuracy on blade length. They are a good value for the money in my opinion.

Works as stated, made well for the price. Fast delivery, and use them often

The smallest square is not “square”. Upon closer inspection it appears to be a defect in manufacturing and should not have passed QC.
