Main Access Deck ladder for above ground pool
We received the ladder and took it out of the box to check it out. For us, it is too early for pool season. This has all you need. The deck flanges are included. I did not see that in the description and ordered two. It seems to be very study, molded plastic steps, and the arms-handrails-are made of aluminum. We will have to drill holes into the ladder part to secure the arms once we are ready to put it in the pool. All that hardware is included as well. I believe this will be very easy to put together with such few parts. This looks so much more comfortable and stable to use than the one I have for my pool and will be so much easier to take out for the winter months. No more crawling under my deck to loosen the screws to attach my ladder to the deck

Great pool ladder and customer service
This ladder is so easy to use for getting in and out of the pool, it’s more like stairs! One of the handrails had a slight dent making it not quite fit into the base, so I emailed customer service and they sent me a replacement immediately. I didn’t have to do a thing! We’re using the pool way more now with this sturdy ladder and we’re so glad to have made the switch!

Watch out: No way to clean the recessed holes behind it (algae incubator for me)
Solid and easy to install. Yes it floats but not disturbing to me. I also got the tubes dented on arrival and I had to deform them back in shape to install. My big concern, after a season, is that there’s no way to clean the deep recessed holes in the back of the ladder, perfect for their manufacturing process but have been an algae incubator for me. I didn’t have so many issues with algae last year while this year I struggled. Scuba diving with a deep brush seems too much for me…I’ll buy a new one next year.

Very nice!
We love this ladder in our pool!! It is good quality, sturdy, has wide footing, and looks beautiful!! I am such a picky person on things looking nice and clean. This fits the bill!! My husband did an excellent installation—there is no bounce or lifting. Feels strong entering or exiting the pool. It is also easy to clean around and under. I had originally wanted a staircase until I found these. No regrets!! If you haven’t the strength to pull yourself up and down a ladder, that may be the only drawback. But I am not a tiny person nor super young, and so just fine. 😊

it is the only deck ladder I can use for my pool but I'm on my 3rd one!
My pool has a slight slope at the edges so this ladder could never sit flat, the ladder does float out a bit and I have to use a ladder mat so it won't rip my liner bc the back edge digs into the bottom. The weak spot on this ladder is where the aluminum rails slide into the plastic ladder. Two of these ladders have snapped off at this spot. I am now always on the lookout for a used one going up for sale so I don't have to keep paying full price for a replacement when my next one breaks. You may not have this issue if your ladder sits flat and fits correctly to your deck. My pool was already installed when I bought my house so the holes are already in my deck but they aren't in the best spot and so there is some wiggle using the ladder. Also this last one I purchased came with dented IE non rounded ends on the aluminum rails and were very difficult to insert into the ladder, we had to use a rubber mallet to pound them in.
