Good enough. Will not sync to channel change on cable box

the buttons will get a response from the tv about 2 out of every 5 times you press them. sometimes i’ll register all button presses at once! so you’ll be pressing right 1, 2, 3 times just trying to go right once and it doesn’t register, and then it’ll suddenly go 3 to the right. it’s maddening. i’m gonna suck it up and pay $75 or whatever for the replacement samsung remote from the parts store - wish i did that from the start because i wasted $18 on this piece of crap that doesn’t work AND irritated me. before you ask: yes, i paired it with the tv. twice a day everyday. it didn’t fix the connection issue. yes, i checked the specs to make sure it was compatible. yes, i even made sure there were no obstacles blocking the tv (though this was never an issue with the samsung brand remote.) not worth the money. poor quality. waste of time.

Great replacement remote, works right out of the package.

Easy setup. Works great. Batteries do fall out easily when dropped, but that’s most remotes.

We have a frame on our TV and this remote does not work cause it cannot see the remote a little disappointing

Overall for a replacement remote not sold by Samsung, the general build quality of the remote is good. It does work with the tv and was easy to pair. The biggest glaring issue is that it has terrible reception and does not work any further away than a couple of feet from the tv. The signal reach is a real problem with this replacement remote. If you need something to change channels and you don’t mind getting up to do it, this might be for you. If you need it to work from your sofa without having to get up to change the channels, this isn’t the remote for you.

Highly recommend works very good

First one I received only worked for 2 weeks, requested a replacement and it was sent out and received today. Remote only works from about 4 ft or less from TV which is how the first one started out. Would not purchase again or recommend.
