Kosmos: Faraway Spiel

This is such a good game. so far two of my friends i showed it to have gone on to buy their own copies. it plays really quickly. is very easy to learn, and can be played by anyone from 7/8-88+ . such a simple concept play 1 of 3 cards each round from left to right no rearranging. then draft a card to replace it. if they ascend in order you get sanctuary cards. but after 8 rounds you score BUT from right to left and the cards on the left don't count towards scores.. it really makes you think but it a really good way. this is a definite winner for my collection of games and one that will make an appearance regularly at games nights.

Excellent game, simple and fun, all came in German or Dutch or whatever but that’s easy enough to get round with YouTube, was well worth the money and the 10 mins effort it took to translate the rules to English. Game is straightforward so easy to get the handle of but has enough about it to keep your brain engaged too, really enjoyed playing it every time I’ve had it out

Great game at a great price. It’s a must on the shelf and provides a great challenge.

excellent game, scales well 2-4 players

Bought this for daughter's Christmas present. It was on her list. Didn't realise until she opened it, it was in German. Luckily she's knows German. Not ideal if you don't.

The 'roundabout' way of scoring in this game is not very attractive. Instead of adding to the game experience, it tends to take away any real playability to the game as a whole. Fair attempt t come up with something new - but misses the target somewhat.

Super Spiel! Wir spielen regelmäßig und auch gerne anspruchsvollere Spiele. Die rückwärts Wertung bei Faraway macht immer wieder Spaß, nach einem Spieleabend oder auch zwischendurch landet es immer ganz schnell wieder auf dem Tisch! Einfach super, Schon mehrfach verschenkt

Ett trevligt spel som går ganska fort att spela. Man behöver dock tänka efter innan man spelar ut sina kort. Detta är ett av mina favoritspel.

Bello, meraviglioso, uno dei miei titoli preferiti. Gioco relativamente semplice per chi è pratico ma alla seconda partita tutti, anche i meno avvezzi capiscono la meccanica che sta alla base e di conseguenza il divertimento è assicurato. Le illustrazioni sono singolari ma fatte con cura e soprattutto, molto originali. Rigiocabilità altissima dato il gran numero di possibili combinazioni. Aleatorietà bassa. Must Have!

Das spiel erfordert eine gute Mischung aus Glück und Taktik. Uns überzeugt es wegen der geringen (zero) Aufbauzeit und schnellen Spielzeit. Weil es auch nicht viel Platz braucht, kann man es tatsächlich fast jeden tag schnell einmal vor dem Schlafengehen in den Alltag einbauen. Die Illustrationen treffen nicht meinen Geschmack, aber ich finde es dennoch faszinierend, dass jede einzelne karte anders designt ist. Was ich noch hervorheben möchte: viele spiele sind erst ab mehr Spielern interessant. Das kann ich von diesem Spiel nicht behaupten. Zu zweit durchaus spannend und ich könnte mir auch vorstellen, dass es alleine einmal ein netter offline-zeitvertreib ist. Man kann die punkte mit der Vorrunde vergleichen und sich damit messen. Das einzige, was dabei wegfällt, ist, dass man im solospiel keinem die "guten" karten wegschnappen kann. 😜 Wenn ich den machern vor der Produktion noch einen Wunsch hätte äußern dürfen, die form der karten ist jnangeneubeim mischen. Allerdings ist das Mischen hier auch gar nicht wichtig, die Karten werden beim spiel ja kaum irgendwie sortiert. Man hat ja doch bei jedem Spiel den Fokus auf etwas anderem. Weil man auf viele verschiedene Arten Punkte sammeln kann, ist jedes Spiel anders.
