A million times improvement from the standard cane! I bought this for a woman who is quite unstable with walking and also has strength issues, overall. She has been complaining a little bit about it being heavy, but that's just because it's quite different than the other cane. It is really not heavy and it's not difficult to manipulate. I have a small compact car and when she sits in the passenger seat she can easily maneuver it right next to her. It also doesn't come crashing down all the time like the old standard cane did. The old cane fell over a lot and I was concerned about her bending over to pick it up all the time. No risk of that with this super stable cane that stands on its own. She hasn't gotten a hang of using the additional handle, which is designed to help a seated person rise to standing position. We're still working on that. I tried it and it seems to work quite well and be extremely stable for that purpose. At first, I was thinking that it would be a learning process to make sure that all four feet were grounded when going up and down stairs. I had the idea in my mind that if one foot of the cane was off the edge of the stair it would be dangerous. So far, that hasn't even seemed to be an issue. It's quite easy just to line it up properly. In fact after a few times up the stairs I forgot to even worry about that. So glad also that it was available in great colors. The bright purple cheers her up 💜

This quad cane is a winner!!! I have tried many other canes including different kinds of canes and everyone I tried felt like there was no support there at all in fact they all felt wobbly which is exactly what we're not looking for!!! This one is stable sturdy supportive and makes you feel safe!!! I do not weigh anywhere near 300 lb but it supposedly works up to that weight So I figured it's going to be really good for me and it is! It was extremely easy to put together it is very lightweight which is surprising being so strong and stable as it is they handle has great cushioning there are many options for height of the cane and this quad is way more stable than another quad I tried I just gave the other one away to somebody and told them I didn't think it was very sturdy but they took it it comes within instruction manual and a 3 year warranty which is pretty good for this price range there's a toll free number to call if you need help there are even videos on YouTube showing exactly how to put it together and showing exactly how to properly use a cane

It's a good cane, just a little heavy.

This cane is adjustable snd unlike many, i can be used for 4' 8" and up. My mom is 5 ft and most canes were best for 5'6" and up. The cane is super stable. The additiinal fold-down handle alliws you to get up easily from a chair. Super strong and stable

Great cane. I have been using a 'single peg' one now for years because my pride couldn't let me get one of these 'bulky looking' canes that may attract attention. But you know what? I use a cane for for safety and support, and don't give a hoot anymore what anyone might think, and by golly they respect me anyway, so it was all in my head, people are nice. I love this cane. It is MUCH more stable. Stands on its own, plus, the fold down handle to assist in rising from the sitting position is fabulous! Should have gotten one a long time ago. A slight bit heavier but I like that, it's strong and built well. I'm a 74 year old man 5f. 9 and 137 lbs. so not huge by any means. It doesn't tire me out at all, even if my wife and I go on long shopping trips, (which is very time). :). Very stable, Functions perfectly, looks great, supports me fabulously, plus I have foot drop, which is an extra challenge.

I bought this for my mom to use when she broke her hip. She preferred the stability of this wide base so much better than the single cane. She loves it. Lightweight and easy to adjust the height.

When you begin to age uncomfortably, you might need some support for your joints. My knee has given me some joint pain, and this Pelegon Quad Cane is just the ticket! It supports you when you have to mount a curb, and all kinds of steps. This is an excellent tool for Seniors!

My husband accidentally fell on it, it was bent and rendered useless! Threw it away
