great meat substitute, when seasoned properly can be used in a variety of meals, great option to bulk buy cheaply

Rather bland needing a favouring to lift it but good for adding bulk to a meal. Menu suggestions and cooking advice would be a very welcome and inexpensive addition.

This product didn’t live up to expectations. It wasn’t very tasty even with quite a lot of seasoning.

I have been vegetarian for years. This is an excellent meat substitute. But far too many people do not realize how to cook it.. Like with the soya chunks, you are supposed to put so much in a bowl first, cover it over with boiling water, put a small plate over the bowl to keep the fresh air in, and leave it to stand for about 20 minutes, for the contents to soak in the water, so the contents expand and soften. Otherwise they taste raw.

Everything I expected. Versatile and easy to cook with. Absorbs flavours well and has a lovely texture.
