I held an outdoor party on a 95 degree day in Tucson, Arizona. I served fruit salad, green salad, a veggie tray, and sandwich wraps. These trays were a lifesaver! They are quite large, and hold multiple serving bowls, plates, or serving platters. I inflated the trays, set them on 6' tables, and still had space on the end of the table for other food and service items. Once inflated, I filled each tray with a layer of ice and set the plates/bowls directly on the ice. It worked like a charm! The fruit, veggies, and salad stayed cool the entire party! I served individually sealed packets of hummus, guacamole, and salad dressing that I tucked directly on the ice alongside the larger trays. The kids loved the applesauce packets that I tucked into the ice around the fruit bowl - they could just grab and go! I did maintain the ice -- scooping out water as it melted or, on one table that was strategically placed, simply pressing down on the edge of the inflatable tray so water could run out, and adding more ice throughout the afternoon. At the end of the party it was easy to lift the food items out of the trays and simply dump the rest of the icy water out onto the ground. After the party, the trays were a cinch to clean, hang dry, deflate, and fold up for future use. They are make of thin inflatable plastic. The advantage to this is that they pack small. The disadvantage is I am not sure how long they will last before they develop a leak, but for the price they were well worth the cost of even one afternoon party.

These inflatable salad bars are just what I have been wanting. What a perfect way to keep thins cool for hot picnic days! I easily inflate them with my small air compressor that I use for my air mattress and they are the perfect sie to hold multiple dishes or lots of drinks! When the picic is over, I pull the drain plug to empty the melted ice and then deflate for easy handling and storage. I love the conveniece, ease of handling and sturdinesss of these items. Also, they work great for an impromptu "pool" for my 2 year old great-grandson - perfect size and he loves it!!

These worked awesome for my daughter’s grad party in July. Kept two large bowls of salad and a huge round serving dish of fruit (the kind you buy pre-sliced and divided from Cub Foods) cool for four hours in one, and a couple of huge round trays of meats/cheeses and condiments in the other, both filled with ice. They were pretty much swimming by the end of three hours so you might want to keep that in mind if you’re planning on keeping open trays of food (my bad - kind of a mess there) but for food in containers kept above the reach of melting ice, these serving trays were really great! We will definitely be using them again at all of our future shindigs.

This product is a great way to serve drinks at a party or barbecue. Remember, however, that ice has lesser mass than water. Once the ice starts melting the water is going to look for a place to go. Most likely onto your floor. Remember not to overload this tray and use a large cup to scoop out water as the party progresses. Also make sure you have a second person around at the end of your party to help you lift this thing and go drain the water and remaining ice somewhere. Once you are ready to deal with this issue, this tray is great. Your guests no longer have to dip their arm into your cooler to come up with a mystery beverage. It inflates and deflates easily. It looks cool. What more can you ask for at this price.

Worked well , came with pump to fill and that was quick and easy . Held lots of ice and kept food cold for hours in 98 degree temps. Many people asked about them and said they would be purchasing for themselves !
