I was kind of skeptical to be honest to purchase this item, as I read forums and watched youtube videos of people stating the aftermarket internal metal filter had a longer transmission oil outlet then OEM. But for the price, I said, what the heck! Got the part in, and starting taking off the transmission pan from my son's car. I cleaned off the original, and set them side by side, and measured the outlet tube, and they are exactly the same height. Minus a few details of the inner metals, it is the same size filter. This product bolted right into place! I wiped down any excess transmission oil that had dropped, and bolted everything back into place, using the new rubber gasket as well. I rate this product a 5 star, it's a great value for the money!

Quality product at a fair price

Installed on '13 Nissan Maxima. Giving it 4 stars since the gasket is not similar to the factory style. I mainly purchased this for the filter, which is practically identical to the factory unit. There were some minor difference in back side of the filter relative to where it bolts to the bottom of the transmission, but no issues with the height of the fluid intake.

This fit my van

2013 Nissan Murano-The trans filter is very good but the gasket doesn’t seal at all. The factory one is thin metal coated in black. This one is all rubber and it compresses and leaks like crazy. I criss crossed tightening the bolts torqued them to spec started it up and leaked everywhere then I tightened the bolts up a little more still leaked like crazy. I gave it another round of tightening and still leaked. I drained it again now this is for the third time because I was flushing the trans. I pulled the pan down and put the old gasket back on because it came off really good. Bolted the pan back up filled it with trans fluid and no leaks anywhere.

fits our 2007 nissan murano very well. The gasket is plastic, needs some help to hold it in place. So far so good.

The filter fit without any problems, I didn’t even have to modify it, as many wrote about other manufacturers where it was necessary to reduce the length of the pipe, here everything is great.

The product arrived on time, well packaged and fully corresponds to the description. I liked it.
