Houswise Color Changing Packets (12-Pack) - Fire Pit Accessory, Magical Flames Changing, Magic Colorful Flames

We recently went camping with our 5- and 1-year-old sons, along with two other family friends (each with their own kids), so we decided to bring these packs along in the hopes that the kids will enjoy tossing them into the fire for the color. In short, I was a bit disappointed in the result, as I expected this to be much more colorful from what the product pictures show; however, the kids had a fun time tossing these into the campfire that we had going at night, so I left the review at 4 stars (I would probably call it something like a 3.5). The packets are individually packaged, and the instructions say to toss 2 to 3 of them into the fire to get the colors going. We had more kids than that, so something like 5-10 ended up in the fire at the same time for us (and even despite that - the colors were just meh for me). Because you only need to toss them in, the product is very easy to use, even for the 5-year-old kids, who only had to throw it into the fire far enough from where they were standing. They enjoyed how the packets that they threw created the different color and had a lot of fun doing it. Overall, I would probably attempt buying another brand next time, given what we got with this product; however, from an idea perspective, this was a very fun one for the kids that we will likely do again for the next camping trip.

Pretty, colorful

This specific brand is not worth the money. I have to throw 12 in to get the same quality as other brands. I thought it would be better because it's paper bagging. Unfortunately it's much much worse.

I ordered the 50 pack but only received 27 packets. The box says fifty but that is not what was received.
