Nifty 3-Tier Oven Rack

I Live in a new senior building and it’s very Lovely. The oven is smaller than what I had in a house. I Like to bake sometimes. It always come on a wind, I keep a lot of Backing supplies in the cabinets and refrigerator. I might say,” I’ll make a cheese cake and just start it right away. Plus dinner will be baking also. I Looked at this and said” I can really use this! I have been using this when I decide to bake extra things and it’s great in the oven. 3 more spaces extra is a great addition . Love this! Try it for yourself.

I purchased 2 sets of these specifically for cooling racks for all of my pies that I bake during the holidays. It worked out great, instead of having pies scattered out all over my counter tops I was able to put the racks side by side and stack them all up to cool off. I also tried them in my oven, I have a double oven range and if i placed the oven rack at the lowest level this rack fit perfectly but, I really don't/didn't intend for it to be used for that purpose. I love that the are very sturdy and chrome, and then they fold up to take up very little room. To make it easier to locate when I need them, i kept the boxes and store them in it. At first it was like a puzzle trying to figure out how to re-fold them so they would fit in the box correctly but I was able to finally figure it out.

When cooking for a large group, I needed to be able to heat a lot of food at once. Six of the standard 9x13 disposable aluminum pans fit perfectly. Timing is always a challenge when you need all the food to be hot at the same time. This rack saved the day. Highly recommended! (NOTE: The standard steam table aluminum pans are too big and will NOT fit on these racks.)

This was a life saver when it came to the holidays. I always have multiple items that have to go in the oven but never enough room or racks. This folds flat so it also saves room in another way. I will say this has one huge downfall when you place this in the oven the other side now is limited to only one rack. In your oven you usually have two racks and in order to use this item you will need to take out one rack (or both if you wish). So when you place this in the oven the rack you took out no longer can fit so the other side of the oven has some wasted space unless your cooking a bigger item such as a turkey which is when I use this gadget. On the left side is turkey and on the right side I have my three tier rack with all my other items. You will not have wasted space if you buy two of these, then you can place both in and have up to six items. Note you cannot adjust the tier, the racks fold out to one size only. It is very sturdy, I had my very heavy casserole dish on the top rack and it did not even bend or have any issues. This would not work if you want to cook say 3 pizzas as this is best for casserole dishes or 9x13 pans. You must put in oven with all three racks as its not adjustable Can leave one side of oven with some wasted space Can hold some very heavy dishes Does not hold bigger items such as pizza pans or a bigger dish than a 9x13 Fits in a standard oven with not much wiggle room and fits in a gas oven also My biggest tip to everyone before buying MEASURE. Measure your oven because it might fit in my oven but it might not fit in yours. Since this item does not adjust if it doesn't fit than it was a waste of time ordering. Also understand than when you place this rack in you no longer can replace your normal oven racks back in.

For anyone who says this isn't sturdy PLEASE READ THE DIRECTIONS, you set it up wrong. This is quite stable when setup correctly. The feet on this lock between your oven racks and it can't move. I'm not sure how much space I will actually gain, as I can only fit my large caserole pan (11x15) next to this in my standard sized jenn air slide in range. Neither my small nor larger roasting pan can fit next to this in the oven. I imagine I could bake a ham in that large casserole, with side dishes added on this rck. Also this could be used to keep multiple caserole dishes warm, although, if none are tall, I'd rather stick all three shelves in my oven for full use of the oven warming space. Photos of me tryign to slide in my small rosting pan, it just barely won't fit! And of my 11x15 casserole dish next to this rack in my Jenn air range.

Worked VERY well! We have a commercial (older) double oven stove at our family home. These ovens only have one rack. This product made Thanksgiving go SO much more smoothly!!! Able to reheat 5 casseroles in the oven by using this!!! **Note - if you are buying this to use in your normal home oven (2 racks) you will need to remove one rack to use this item! Works very well in an oversized one rack oven!** We found this rack to be very sturdy and held up well to repeated heavy usage over Thanksgiving weekend. Very tempted to buy another!!

This is a quality made rack. It locks into place tight and doesn't wobble. It's perfect for tier cooking of multiple baking items. The rack holds regular baking sized casserole dishes. The quality is actually better than I expected. The rack fits securely to the oven rack and there is no need to worry about the rack falling over because the fit is snug. This rack is ideal for baking cookies and casseroles at the same time. It does take up about 1/2 of the side of the over but will allow you to cook more dishes than just the regular 2 baking racks. It's a great addition to a kitchen and recommended for everyone that bakes!

I purchased this item after seeing the mixed reviews - some saying it's study and some saying it falls right apart. We assembled the item and put it in the oven - I immediately groaned on seeing that it was wobbling in place - probably not so badly that I couldn't use it, but badly enough that I knew I'd need to be careful during use. Then I double checked the assembly instructions, and we had flipped a piece the wrong direction. After fixing, it is very, very sturdy. I have to assume that those who found it flimsy made the same error we did. If it's not working for you -- be sure to double check your assembly!
