Quality Ultra short throw projector.
I bought this ultra short throw projector as an upgrade from an Epson long throw TW7000.I have always been pleased with the Epson it fills a 130 inch screen and is very easy to setup. The downside was it required a dark room and compared to the Hisense colours are subdued. The immediate impression you get with the Hisense is the brightness of the picture and the intensity of the colours.I found it needed very little tweaking to achieve the colour balance I like. The settings menu is intuitive and user friendly and can be altered to suit the input or programme type. I had concerns that my screen a white celexon tab tensioned gain 1.1 is not ALR would not give a good picture but no problem. Unlike the Epson I don't need a totally dark room to get a very nice picture, colours will intensify with Increased darkness but experimenting with localised room lighting improves black levels and contrast. I have a full surround sound dolby atmos Marantz sound system which I use most of the time but have found the inbuilt sound perfectly adequate for those times when something simpler is OK, like watching sport. Ultra short throw brings the expected issues to resolve, the projector is less forgiving of any screen ripple and I have had to play around with the screen tab tensioning, long throw is much more forgiving in this respect. Overall the improved picture quality in terms of colour and brightness is a trade off with the intolerance re screen flatness but in my view worth it.Squaring up the image and keystone is more difficult than with the Epson but not a game changer and soon mastered. In terms of value for money I think the Hisense is exceptional I was expecting to pay 3 times the cost to get this level of performance. The laser eye projection is frustrating when you first set the projector image as it shuts the laser off to protect your eyes but triggering it is unavoidable during the set up procedure.Later once set up you discover this feature can be disabled. In conclusion this is my 5th projector and providing it gives its expected life span the best yet.

Amazing
I bought this without having a alr screen and although I am very impressed with quality of picture on wall especially when its not sunny as I have a very sunny room, I have ordered a screen unfortunately still waiting for it as it was a long delivery time so can't comment on picture quality on screen yet but am sure it will be amazing. Sound is very good and I'm able to control my fire cube with projector control which is brilliant so only have to use one control. I had been looking at the projector for a long time and I'm glad I purchased it i have only gone for 80inch although I have a big room so I can go bigger in the future if I wish it didn't seem odd going from 49inch to 80inch as its very easy on the eye. Overall very happy so would recommend if you are thinking of getting one.

Excellent projector and value for money
Great value projector for this price range. The tri laser makes a huge difference in contrast / brightness. I own an OLED tv and the picture is absolutely stunning on the projector. An ALR screen will make a huge difference in the picture quality. I also projected it in a white / grey wall and the quality is still very good. Software is excellent and not too laggy. It has hdmi arc connection and a 4k hdmi connection which helps connect all different devices.

Not SOLD BY AMAZON - Seller can not be contacted - Manufacturer unwilling to help.
The projector had been assembled missaligned so no HDMI cables could be inserted. For some reason all the listings from The Projection Center Ltd appeared (at time of writing) as Sold By Amazon. Was only when I contacted Amazon that I was told to contact the seller direct. Tried to call the seller direct but phone would only ring 3 times then disconect. Looking on google street view this seller is based in a tiny premises in London that according to Companies House has a lot of businesses registered there. The unit is also a European import as confirmed by contact with Highsense (and the inclusion of a EU power lead instead of a British one). Also the phone number for Highsense will only get you tec support, and they refuse to give out any other number for their company, so impossible to speak to anyone with any authority. So I have no idea how good or bad the prouct may be? But all the hours spent trying to fix the mess makes it hard to recommend

As a newbie I am very happy.
I project on a wall that isn’t even white. Most of what I see is amazing. General blacks are not black - but things like shiny black leather jackets look amazingly black. However, it looks cinematic - so most of what would be better on an oled works well cinematically. There maybe better blacks at the same price, but I got this because Smazon provide zero interest credit. All I can say is that I’m a genuine purchaser, albeit my first projector, and my lilac wall gives such a great experience I can’t be bothered to buy a screen or paint the wall white - for now. I’m watching all my favourite films again because the experience is so superior to my 65 inch tv it just gathers dust. I’m guessing prices will go down if you’re happy to wait though, because looking at it, it’s difficult to see why it costs so much.

Great projector with crappy VIDAA
Great projector. Very bright, clear display. The main downside is that it comes with the VIDAA system, which is a walled garden with not many good apps. Though fortunately it also supports other HDMI inputs.

Fantastic
Picture quality is outstanding. Set up is a little bit of a pain, but doesn't take too long. We did have a few issues with the auto calibration, but the manual version is very straight forward. Built in sound quality is a little thin, but overall good. App layout is clean and easy to use, quite a lot of children's based apps that I would to be able to remove, but that doesn't seem to be an option unfortunately. Overall incredibly happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone.
