Alphabet Bookcase- Natural Wood

Buyers should be aware that this bookcase is more of a shelving unit. It is narrow and must be bolted to the wall. Since this is exactly what we wanted, that was not a problem, but be sure that it's what YOU want. This shelf comes with assembly required. That process was easy enough, though we noticed that one of the pieces of included hardware was warped, so we couldn't finish assembling. (No extra hardware??) However, Tidy Books' customer service was lovely, quick to respond, and sent us a new set of hardware without hassle. Now that it is in place, we're very happy to have it. It holds a lot of books, 40-50 easily, and we still have mostly board books. Our toddler (who was 18 months when we first installed it) proudly gets books from the shelves, and (with prompting) will return books to the shelf; the forward-facing design makes this much easier for her to do. The bottom 3 shelves are easy for an 18 month-old to reach, and we use the harder-for-kid top shelf for books that we'd prefer to help her with (such as the lift-the-flap books that she tries to tear the flaps off of when unsupervised). Since it is so narrow, it has given noble purpose to what would otherwise be an orphaned section of our living room wall. It serves its purpose well, and looks nice.

This bookshelf is beautiful. We mounted it to the wall. Very sturdy and holds lots of books.

My son loves this bookcase and now he can easily see his books and pick out what he'd like to read. I like that it's attached to the wall so no worry of tipping over and doesn't take up much room at all. The quality and finish are both excellent and I like that it's not made of MDF.

This is a really cute bookcase. Although the first one that was shipped to us had a missing screw, we got the replacement within two days and were able to put it together easily. It holds lots of books and doesn't take much space. My son (4 years old) always practice his ABCs when he gets a book :)

It did not have much space at all for the amount of money it costed...maybe 25 books. Do not waste your money. Buy something that will hold more books. Very dissappointed.

2 of the 4 shelves in the middle are way too small and narrow. the bottom shelve could be wider too.

Normally, a lot of dread comes with having to put together furniture. Lord knows the rest of the furniture in my sons room was a nightmare to assemble!!! HOWEVER! this bookshelf was so easy to put together that even with my husbands and my combined singular shared brain cell we were able to put it together with no problem at all. Overall, it’s sturdy, high quality, and able to hold a surprisingly large amount of books!! If i could, i would give this product 10 stars.

This bookcase is gorgeous, great material and takes up very little space. Got this for our daughter to solve the problem of her books being all over the place, but just a few of them fit in there. I am not sure what size a book has to be for you to actually squeeze in 85 books in this thing but if you have a normal collection of books where some are thin and some are a little thicker, you come nowhere near that number. For me it was around 40 books. I wanted something like this so it'd be easier for my kids to pick the book they wanted as the book covers are facing them as opposed to a regular bookshelf, but the lack of space has been quite disappointing.

This is quite possible my favorite item purchased this year! I love it and so does my two year old son!! I like it so much I wouldn't mind one for myself! The book case was really easy to put together in next to no time at all. It is very sturdy and well made, it is also a doddle (realy easy) to fix to wall. You can buy this case just plain with no alphabet, but I am so pleased I didn't, the lettering is bold and beautiful and adds a fantastic finishing touch to my sons bedroom, as well as being a real talking point! The sizes and dimensions are great, with each shelf being set at different heights for different sizes of books, I have stocked the shelves and they are chocker (full) but I haven't counted to see how many it holds, although the seller claims it can hold up to 85 books. The whole case is a little taller than my son which makes the top shelf slightly too high for him to reach, but as this product has clearly been made to last I have no doubts it will still be in his room when he is old enough to reach Can't recommend this product enough, although very pricey, if it lasts as long I as expect it to it will be worth every penny!

Ho confrontato questa libreria con molti altri modelli prima di acquistarla perché costa 50 euro in media in più rispetto ad altre pur valide e sicure, tipo Ikea Billy per intenderci. Vale la differenza. Coloratissima, antischeggia, molto più capiente di quanto appaia (circa 80 libri piccoli o almeno 30 di tutte le dimensioni), tiene tutti i libri bene in evidenza e consente di sistemarli poi in un attimo. la mia bimba di 13 mesi a volte va in cameretta, ne prende uno e me lo porta in un'altra stanza. Le piace guardare i suoi libri e le viene voglia di manipolarli. E' capitato che si aggrappasse agli scaffalini per scalarli, ma la libreria è ultrarobusta e non si è smossa di un millimetro senza pericoli per la piccola. Siccome neanche le librerie più economiche costano poco, questa vale sicuramente la cifra. Tra l'altro esteticamente è molto carina e tutti i miei ospiti mi chiedono dove l'abbia acquistata. Amazon impeccabile come sempre, venditore affidabilissimo. Non banale da montare, mio marito si è fatto dare una mano da un amico esperto in montaggi :)
