100 x POLYSTYRENE EPS Foam Packing Sheets 600x400x10mm

Well packaged in cardboard boxes and arrived in perfect condition. At approx. £0.33 per sheet, these are the best value that I could find. Around half the price of the next cheapest. I got them to insulate an out-building. A 3mm layer of bubble foil and 10mm of polystyrene. Wedged between 12mm thickness batons and held in place with 9mm hardwood faced plywood will do what I want. So not as high performing as e.g. Cellotex or Kingspan, but less bulky, easier to work with, and a fraction of the cost. At least some insulation is better than no insulation. The space between the batons is completely filled, with no gaps, in order to reduce or avoid condensation. The 10mm polystyrene sheets cut OK with a knife, e.g. a Stanley with a new blade. Any knife should be OK but it needs to be insanely sharp and used at a shallow cut angle. Cut along the edge of a hand saw to get a straight edge.

What I found misleading was the mention of 'Foam Packing Sheets' these are Polystyrene. I'm annoyed at myself because I should have been more diligent and read 'Polystyrene Foam Packing Sheets'. I was in a hurry and read 'Foam' not 'Polystyrene'. I suggest you remove Foam from the description. It is misleading.

Fast delivery,quality OK but let down by packing damage so several sheets could not be entirely used. Probably carrier damage?but sheet damage did not correspond to areas of box damage.

Great for insulating shed / summer house Perfect for the job small enough to manoeuvre and get in the right places came well packaged in boxes🙂

These came very quickly and are excellent value for money and i will be buying some more in the near future. Would highly recomend
