BIQU Panda Extruder, CNC Extruder Case Upgrade for Bambu-Lab P1S P1P X1C X1E 3D Printers, Drop-in Upgrade, Lightweight Extruder Shell

I bought this for the all metal sprockets and gear, plus it looks neat it is made of aluminum atleast the housing and the sprockets and gears are ss steel which should make it last a long time no plastic in this extruder so if you are a avid 3D printer or like myself a doodler to noodler this product should save you some money cutting down on extruder parts.

System would not calibrate with this item. It kept throwing errors since it couldn't calibrate correctly. Worked with the vendor support for weeks troubleshooting. Sent photos, had to weight the part, sent more info back and forth. Support wouldn't reply for a day or so (Probably on the other side of the planet). Eventually after weeks of this they said they would ship me a replacement. I asked if I should return this one to Amazon and they said I wouldn't need to, and that they would ship me a replacement. I waited for months, well past the time that I could return to Amazon, then got an email saying "Hello sir, sorry for the trouble, our Amazon colleague said you can look for us at Amazon and get a refund , sorry for taking so long!" Well, I can't its too late to do a refund!

I didn't have an issue with my P1S but I wanted all the bells and whistles for it. I installed the BIQU extruder parts and it has worked flawlessly. Much higher quality than the plastic factory parts

I found the extruder housing in my Bambu Lab X1C had cracked where the hot end attached, and I was seeing problems. So I decided to give this aluminum one a try, and it worked great. Everything was easy to move from the stock housing, and it fit in the printer easily. Great add on to the printer.

Works like it should. The only problem I have had with it is that if you aren't careful with the screws when reattaching it they can fall into the skeletonized body. If lucky you can pull them out otherwise you have to take it apart again.

I bought this along with the Panda Claw. I had high hopes. This combination is hot garbage. Difficult to align the components, machining isn't great (properly threaded screws at 90-degree angles to surface actually come out with chunks of aluminum on the threads). When combined with the Panda Claw, it transformed my X1C into a literal filament shredder, leaving bits of filament all over the build plate. Skip this one folks. Spend your money on something else. Biqu/BTT have produced a ton of GREAT products, these 2 are not among them.

I did have some extruder issues and I piggy backed this purchase with those parts. I dont know if its better or worse than the original part, but it hasnt negatively effected anything. It would be entirely easier to clean this one vs the stock one, but I havent had to do that, since I installed it. If I can say anything about it, is that I feel more confident about how the extruder handles filament.
