**5.0 out of 5 stars** **Fantastic GMT field watch , punches way above its price!** I picked up the Seiko 5 Sports SSK023 (black dial GMT) and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. This thing is a sleeper hit – great build, super versatile, and it looks sharp on the wrist. Right out of the box, the watch feels solid: 39.4mm case is perfect (not too big, not too small), the curved Hardlex crystal has a nice vintage vibe, and the LumiBrite on the hands and markers glows like crazy at night. The fixed five-sided GMT bezel gives it that tool-watch character, and the red GMT hand pops beautifully against the black dial. It's a caller GMT (using the 4R34 movement), but for travel or tracking a second zone, it works flawlessly. Where it really shines for me is the timekeeping. Mine has been running **extremely accurately** staying within a couple seconds per day, which is honestly comparable to my Rolex Explorer II GMT in real-world use. I was pleasantly surprised; no big swings like some cheaper automatics. Power reserve is solid at around 41 hours, and it hacks and hand-winds smoothly. The only minor thing (and it's not really a complaint) is that I swapped the stock bracelet almost immediately for an aftermarket solid clasp and solid end-link oyster-style bracelet from Long Island Watch shop. They make a custom one specifically fitted for the SSK023 (20mm lug width), and wow – what a difference! The stock one is decent, but the Islander oyster upgrade feels more premium, hugs the wrist better, and gives it that classic Rolex-ish polish without breaking the bank. Highly recommend if you're picky about bracelets. Overall, this is one of the best value watches I've owned. Great for everyday wear, looks good dressed up or casual, and the GMT function is actually useful. If you're looking for an affordable, reliable field GMT that doesn't scream "budget," grab this one you won't regret it. Highly recommend!

Picked up the Seiko SSK033 on Amazon and honestly love it. It looks even better in person and feels really solid on the wrist without being too heavy. The GMT feature is a nice bonus, and it’s been keeping great time so far. Super easy to wear daily, works with pretty much anything. For the price, this thing is hard to beat. Definitely recommend it.

This watch is a shockingly good value. It looks great, has an explorer vibe to it, a reliable movement, and super high quality materials, at an insanely low price.

This is my first GMT watch, I love the color, and I also like the fit of this watch on my wrist. The quality is outstanding for the price point, the only thing that disappointed me was it was sapphire crystal glass. But over all accuracy isn’t bad at all, just keep wearing the watch and it won’t stop in you. Also makes for a very good daily watch that is stylish. 5/5

An outstanding time piece at a very nice price... it is my second Seiko GMT...

Beautiful watch and keeps excellent time. Love the yellow dial. Appreciate it's a Japanese movement and not Malaysian as are my other Seiko. But i'm giving a 4-star review as i think the watch is a resale. There were fingerprints on the cashback and could tell the bracelet strap protective plastic had been removed and poorly reapplied. However no scratches nor other damage so will be keeping the watch unless some issues arise within my Amazon return window.

First, the watch arrived brand new and exactly as described. It was carefully packaged, and all protective plastics were still applied to the case and bracelet, which gave me immediate confidence that it had never been worn or handled improperly. The bracelet and clasp were fully wrapped in factory protection. The watch itself is absolutely stunning in person. The silver/white dial paired with the blue and black bezel gives it a unique “Batman” style look, but with a brighter and more refined appearance, which can be called the “White Batman”. The finishing on the case and bracelet is excellent, and it has a solid, quality weight that feels premium on the wrist. Most importantly, the watch is completely authentic. The 4R34 movement functions exactly as it should: • The GMT hand adjusts independently in the first crown position. • The date changes properly. • The seconds hack when pulled to the second position. • Manual winding works smoothly and feels precise. • The rotor and caseback engravings are correct and clean. The seller provided a one-year warranty, which is fair for a third-party seller, and the price I paid was competitive for a brand-new model. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. Excellent watch for the price point, finish is exceptional, dial is easy to read, caller type GMT is easy to set and read as well, lume leaves a little bit to be desired but it's readable in the dark (The hands are bright, but the hour markers are tiny, wish they would have lumed the entire numeral), out of the box it's running about +12. Overall very happy with it, it's a great addition to any collection, or as and EDC.

Gorgeous watch as always from Seiko. You and change the band for the frabic band that they sell for more of a "sporty" look. I thought it looked amazing both ways. Almost like you're able to dress it up or down (like a more casual put together outfit)

It looked like a 2nd hand watch. Signs that the watch had been worn already: (bracelet to many scratches, rusty link screws which were caused by wearer's sweat, date lens got physical scratches, back of the watch is too dirty). The seller didn't even try cleaning the watch before shipping.
