mmmmm Lovely fresh popcorn!
I got this for Christmas last year as a present. I couldnt wait to try it out and see if the fresh stuff would be better than shop bought or cinema stuff. All you have to do is measure out a capful (his little hat) of corn put the corn into the machine, replace the cap and switch the machine on. Place a bowl under his beak to collect the popcorn! Then you wait for the popping to begin. When the popping stops leave him a little while otherwise some inactive corn may reach the temperature for popping out of the machine - which will make you jump! (I have only done this once when the film was already starting!!!) You can then enjoy your poprcorn or make some more! Two batches is enough for two hungry people. It tastes fantastic with a bit of salt or you could try butter or sugar depending on how you like your pop corn. Replacement bags of corn are readily available from Tesco/Sainsburys for about 60p, and you will get quite a few bathces from the small bag I havent counted how many though. I give it 4 stars and not 5 as not everyone will like the duck appearance / might not suit modern kitchen! Although it is fun as the popcorn comes out of his mouth.

Duck delivers PopCorn Frenzy
You put a hat full of corn in the top, turn it on and it makes a noise like a big hairdryer. Not surprising as it's basically a big hairdryer (Safety note: don't try to use a normal hairdryer to make popcorn!) After a couple of minutes it starts to spit popcorn out. The only minor draw back is popped corn can push unpopped corn out too. The unpopped corn is very hot and moves very fast so supervise your kids and don't try and pick up unpopped kernels! The end product is great and much easier than using a pan and doesn't leave any washing up either. If you're not concerned by the sight of a duck vomiting popcorn into a bowl then I thoroughly recommend it! Duck + Corn = Popcorn

Corny duck is poptastic!
This gadget is great, healthy and so easy! Whilst creating fantastic tasting popcorn, it is also fun to watch it in action. The duck spits out the popcorn with wild enthusiasm and therefore a large bowl is recommended to catch all the corn. (this, however, does add to the excitement) Verdict: Great tasting popcorn in a jiffie!

Good, easy popcorn
This makes good popcorn, and doesn't ever burn them. But the popcorn is plain so you can either salt it or try out different seasonings and soaking techniques as in cinemas and ready made packs. Looks funny and is reliable. Definite for popcorn fans!

Great Fun
I've had this popcorn maker for about six years and it has only just packed in (which isn't bad considering the temperature it must have to reach - and most small kitchen appliances don't last that long). So now I want a new one but it isn't available on amazon at the minute. no popcorn for me.
