Most have claimed to be 5v or 5.2v, and 2.4a, 3a, or even 4a, and very few of them actually hit their claimed numbers. Some fluctuated from 4v to 5v, or got really hot, or were extremely noisy, but I really only ever found 2 that I trusted and did exactly what their rating said they'd do. This one now makes 3, and probably became my new favorite. I usually stay away from any cord longer than 1m because they never account for voltage drop and I've always had problems, but I'm glad I disregarded that this time because this power supply is awesome. It supplies nice stable, clean, and constant power even for extended times. I will be buying more of these for my other Pi and 5v needs and would definitely recommend anyone reading this to do the same. Review: It works, less expensive than OEM.
