Wow! I am impressed! The massager technology has gotten really good! I did not expect this quality in a $70 massager. When massaging, the massager imparts very little vibration to the hand holding the massager while, at the same time, it is a powerful massager on the business end. Control: Amplitude - there are 5 settings for the amplitude where the amplitude control how far out the massaging hammer (yes, this is essentially a hammer) thrusts out during each cycle. The range of distance the hammer thrusts out each cycle is enough to cover most needs. In fact, for me, I only use the highest setting and control the depth of the massage through how hard I press the massager into the surface of the area being massaged. Be careful that you don't press too hard. You can hurt someone if you press too hard. It is that powerful. Frequency - There are also 5 setting of speed of vibration. It is advertised that the frequency range is 1,800 to 3,000 cycles per minute. This range of frequencies gives you a lot of control over the vibration effects that one might want. However, I spent all of the time on the low end of the frequency. In fact, if there was two more slower frequency settings on the lower end, I would welcome that. Having said that 1,800 hz does a pretty good job of transmitting pulses deep into muscles. I am just nit picking here. Noise level was pleasantly quiet. I was very surprised at how quiet and powerful the massager was. This contributed to the sense that the build quality is very very good. This is a solid piece of engineering. The web site claims that a single charge can last for 4-5 hours of continuous operation. I doubt that the charge would last that long. Granted that I used highest setting of amplitude and lowest setting of frequency, however, mine did not last nearly that long. The charge went from 80% (out of the box) to something like 40% in 25 minutes of running it hard. I haven't tried it after a full charge to see how long a full charge would last. In most situations, I expect sessions to last about 15 to 20 minutes. Any longer than that, I think muscles would turn into ground beef. It is that powerful. Also, I don't know how appropriate this is for back massages around the spine. This can be really powerful and one needs to be a little careful with it. This definitely is not a toy. I think this would be most effective against large muscle groups rather than areas where there are lots of boney structures. The vibrations are vigorous enough to be transmitted to significant depth in the muscle groups like thighs, hamstrings, gluts, deltoids, and etc. where there are large muscle masses. I haven't had it long enough to know how long this will last. However, based on how solid it feels, I would expect this to be a very reliable tool that will last a long time. I will try to update this review in about a year.

This little machine delivers. Pros: Cost to benefit ratio is great overall. The head selection is on par with other devices PLUS it comes with a heating/cooling head that actually functions. Look up other heads with this effect and those alone are 40-60$. Battery life is excellent and charging speed is less than others at this price point. The five speeds are significant enough to say they are five variations. Others I could barely tell, if at all, if anything was faster or stronger. I found the lowest setting to be on par with others "high" at this price point. The carry case is a nice touch. USB C charging on the heat/cold head piece as well as device = universal connector = reduced waste. Cons: More like recommendations. Would have liked a extension wand as that would benefit those with limited mobility and increase the areas in your back you can treat yourself with. I have full range of motion and fond some positions uncomfortable to reach but not dissimilar to other products as they share this limitation. No charging brick. In an age if millions of electronics I can see why they reduced the cost by not including it but optionally would be nice for those that do not have one. Pieces are less study plastic. Though functional, would like to have option for hypoallergenic or oil safe products for us that like to incorporate essential oils into our massages. I haven't tested it but like dissolves like and I'd hate plastic to end up being absorbed into skin. Summary: Excellent product that does what it says and includes an optional head normally bought separately or at a much higher price point. I'll have to update this after more prolonged use but so far no regrets and I'm recommending it to my family.

Exceeded every expectation. Purchased as a result of muscular pain around my knee. The results after a single session were IMMEDIATE and DRAMATIC. Cooling and heating attachment works well. Case and massager are high quality builds. VERY happy with purchase. I spent considerable time looking at models which cost less. I am sure I would not have been as satisfied with purchase had I opted for a different model.

Great and powerful machine. Not sure if we ever went over step 2, this unit is a solid powerful one. So far it "melted" all our muscles ;)) The only reason for not giving 5 stars but really deserves 4 1/2 is that the heads selection could have been more optimized for different areas of body. The most common used - the "plate" - works OK on muscles and/or other soft parts of the body but if the transition goes over or touches a bone you'll feel it like you've been hit by a hammer! the Hot/Cold head works great as well. So far no complains, been using it for 2 weeks already for my calves, I'll keep abusing this to see how it'll go ;)

In the spirit of gifting, I purchased a product for my friend, and the delight it brought to her face was a testament to its effectiveness. As I was informed, this item performs exceptionally well. The cool setting and the heat setting both work equally effectively, and she has been using it consistently since.

Awesome item really cures all soreness and stiff pain in muscle pain.

The massage gun is really good. Built quality is sturdy although will be slightly heavy for a female. The strength is superb and helps to relax my sore muscles especially those that are deep in the muscles. Although doing those deep muscles massage have to be careful because it can irritate the nerves abit if you place it in the same location for a while.

Writing a review after 3 months of usage: This is a very high quality massage gun. There are attachments available for different body parts. Very effective for those of us involved in intensive exercise, or also for people sitting all day. Helps really open up tight muscles and joints The build quality as well as the packaging is fantastic, and so is the battery life. The gun works easily for 4-5 hours of massage before it needs charging. This product is absolutely worth the price.

have been using a lot of massage guns. Great massager gun. Hot & cold head - really give it an edge - to relax muscle or treat sore muscles better.

I didn't expect this purchase would last but after 2 years the battery still holds charge and rarely needs recharging and the motor still works like when it was new. The rubber on the handle still feels good and hasn't become sticky or cracked as may occur with cheaper brands. The massage gun works well at all speeds and has been better than expected for loosening stress and relieving muscular pain. I use it while stretching or when I have back pain and I find it helps loosen stiff joints and relieve muscular and nerve tension. You should be careful when massaging close to hard bone or upper spine as it is not recommended to do so in the manual. You will also soon learn not to when the massage head clatters on any bony party of your body! Charging is also easy given the usb c connection on the bottom of the handle. I appreciate the carry case which keeps everything tidy and the ease of use. Even though it has 5 attachment heads I usually only use 3 of them and the hard u shaped one is only really useful if a partner can massage your back for you, but they all feel different and affect the muscles differently. Also too is the range of speeds. While some massage guns have finer control, I find the limited number of steps is all I need. One thing to note is that the hard plastic heads could potentially be used with oil but it may be better to purchase a metal head separately. I use the massager dry on skin or even over clothes and haven't found the need for oil as the movement of the device means it does not usually drag or get stuck anywhere while in use. Given the price and quality (especially if you can get one during a sale), I would happily recommend this brand and models if you are a first time buyer.
