I am making my first music box and bought this for the tune. When I got it the first thing I did was try it out. I was disappointed in how quiet it was just holding it in my hand. After putting it in the box though all I can say is WOW! The box acts as a resonator that amplifies the sound and I mean amplifies! Very happy with this. The only thing it is lacking is a template to use for marking the holes for the screws and the winding key. I ended up using some scrap card stock to make one so no big deal.

I replaced this in my daughter's music box. It took some doing, but I was even able to re-attach the little spinning ballerina. And the fact that it is a Frozen song actually made my daughter like her jewelry box even more than she did before.The only downside is that it took a long time to get here.It looks like this works for a number for different attachment types.

I got this to replace the music box inside a jewelry box I got at a thrift store. It fits perfectly and it's nice that I got to get a tune I actually like! It even arrived much earlier than expected.

I bought this to embed it in a GOT themed sculpture. It's fabulous. It's also fairly small so I don't have to go out of my way to get the sculpture altered to make room for embedding it.

I bought this to make a music box for my mother. It is perfect, just what I wanted. The Davy jones song is so sweet yet sad.
