What you see is what you get, and then some.
I love how fast this little thing is. Great read and write speeds. I wish i had ordered the USB3.0 caddy to repurpose my older SSD. Works as it should. No issues installing OSX Mojave.

Lasted 13 months and then needed to be replaced
I liked how easy it was to install. Bought it in October 2019 for a Mac Pro (late 2013 model). Worked flawlessly for a year. In November 2020, my Mac started crashing randomly. Took it to a Genius Bar at my local Apple store where hardware diagnostics revealed that the SSD was the root cause and that it needed to be replaced. Bummer. The SSD was good while it lasted, but it’s only lasted 13 months and the return period expired after 12 months. As much as I like it’s, i won’t be buying this SSD again. OWC makes a compatible drive with a five-year warranty. That’s what I’ve purchased to replace the failed SSD.

Never got the Mac Pro to recognize it
I eventually had to give up and return it. Spent 3X for replacement from Apple which worked perfectly. I tried every conceivable option of installing the OS from USB, external drive, network and Internet Recovery. Completely unable to have the Mac Pro recognize the storage. As this was a critical server, I had to give up after 3 days and just get one from Apple support. That worked perfectly as expected. I was running Lion on this server initially and later Sierra but installed ESXi and used it as a Mac VM host. Possible I needed High Sierra to update the firmware but I could not get any version of the installer or anything to work with High Sierra.

Excellent Product!!
Works flawlessly. Well built, seen as internal hard drive just like native Apple drives. Very happy with purchase!

It worked at last but it really something to do it
It took me some hours, emails, search on the web to make it work. I am not sure if it’s something to do with the new Mojave OS. I just have to do it a bit cumbersome so to have it installed. Anyway, the seller is responsive and trying to help all the time.
