They are a tight fit for the V12 slim detect and need to be brushed off frequently. But the price is worth it

this was my 2nd or of these, apparently they come in different sizes. They are easy to install if you order the correct size so be sure to confirm the model Dyson vacuum you have and if it is the "slim".

After multiple attempts to buy a replacement filter (just to have an extra on hand for when I’m washing, then drying the filter - which should ideally not be used for at least 48 hours) on the Dyson website, being told it is out of stock, and never hearing back from Dyson about WHEN it will be back in stock, I decided to try these filters. There are three in a pack for less than the cost of one filter on the Dyson site ($29.99 on Dyson for one). The filter on my model is a teal color, these are purple. I think this is just cosmetic because I have the ‘plus’ model, but not structurally different. I simply removed the old filter and replaced it with one of these. Initially I didn’t push/twist it on correctly and I got an error message saying ‘no seal’. I removed and replaced the new filter with a little twist and we were good to go. I then vacuumed my carpeted bedroom with no problems at all. I feel like the performance is better with this new filter because I’d washed the old one several times already and it seems to get clogged faster. Now I have 4 filters total! I’ll save one (and the original filter) for an emergency and rotate two. I would buy again in the future.
