Reliable tools at a reasonable price
Super high quality item. Works perfectly for small jobs and will lock items in place if you need that third hand. They are easy to adjust, easy to use, very versatile and were an awesome deal at the time I bought the three I purchased. Irwin makes a great product that always scores high in comparison tests. Now this is the small unit...so, keep your expectations inline with the 4'' tool. Otherwise, I highly recommend any Irwin vise grip product.

Great little pliers
Bought these specifically to work in my rear brake hardware on my truck. These are SMALL 4 inches so fits in my palm. But it worked great and has a pretty good “bite” / grip . I was able to pull some brake springs on an e-brake system on an f150 as well as use it to lock / pull the e-brake cable. Overall I am impressed with these. Would buy again and would recommend.

Excellent Mini Pliers – Perfect for Tight Spots
These mini pliers are outstanding. Great for tight, hard-to-reach areas where regular pliers just won’t fit. Strong grip, solid build, and very precise tips. And by the way — these exact pliers took first place on a well-known YouTube tool channel for reliability, build quality, and overall performance. And honestly, I can see why. Fantastic little tool, highly recommended.

Perfect for the Right Users
This is a great little tool with a few considerations other buyers need to make. Mine have aligned jaws, everything functions really smoothly, and for SMALL tasks, I love them. Even the wire cutters work great, and that surprised me. However, with some of the other reviews, I think it's important to note who this is for. They're 4 inches long. Actually about 5 from end to end, but I don't know what points the brand is counting toward its length. So, they are a bit small for large hands, and the smooth (high-quality) finish will slip in your hand a bit. Certainly not something you want to work with all day in a shop environment. However, they still work great. There's a hex hole on the bolt to let you really clamp down on things, but at this size, I don't think that is something most people will use often. The tasks these excel at don't require THAT level of grip. Still, I like having the option if necessary. Because of their size, the jaws also aren't going to accommodate nearly as much as their larger counterparts. You certainly won't be clamping onto plumbing pipes. They open impressively wide, but you won't have much leverage due to how short they are, and the handle maxes out its width when you do open them all the way up. So, it becomes even harder to hold them in that position. With that being said, I think they're perfect for an EDC plier. They're small, high-quality, and extremely versatile. They're just not going to do what a lot of tradesmen want Vice Grips to do outside of very niche applications. At least, they won't do it comfortably. This is a great needle nose plier for the at-home guy who wants to carry it for EDC or handle 99% of pliers and clamping tasks around the house. I did remove a star for one minor problem. The handle attached to the lower jaw is not pinned perfectly tight. So, that shorter handle wobbles slightly until the tool is clamped. It's not bad or extremely noticeable, and it doesn't affect its functionality, but it's a small detail that could have been fixed just by pressing the pin a little harder during manufacturing, and it would have felt absolutely rock solid.

Irwin (4LN) vise-grip
Tiny but capable, these vise-grips have stood the test of time since 1924. The 4 inch variety are special in that they'll fit into a pocket or backpack so you'll never even know they're there, but operate at near-full-size to handle emergencies and day-to-day problems. Great tools! This one, (4LN) has the long thin jaws that can get into deep places and grab onto smaller objects. It's like having a functional jewel in your hand.

An Original ViceGrip
Excellent ViceGrip needle-nosed pliers. Very small, an ideal aid to dexterity. Good steel. The nose is narrow enough to reach dropped parts. Adjustable.

They would've been 5* if I didn't know better!
Although still quite serviceable, the quality is not up to the standards of the original, Made in U.S.A. model. I had "lost" those and ordered these replacements. (A few days later I found them. I kept these 'cauz you can never have too many tools!) The long nose on the new ones are heftier, they're wider and much less fine than the originals. They even weigh a bit more. Such a shame.
