Great gadget, for us with bad knees and backs, worked a treat the first time we used it, normally takes two of us to thread an air awning, this has changed it now to one, it’s very robust, easy to use, I used tutorials on utube, well worth the money, it’s takes all the stress and sweat out of putting awning up.

Getting older and my wife cannot help as much so this is perfect for getting my awning up the rail. Well made, fits well and very stable and does what exactly what it says it’s for.

I found this easy to use and was able to thread my 4m air awning through the track without any assistance (I am 5'4" and in my 60's). As no instructions were included with it, I watched a video on YouTube. (I had watched it prior to buying the pulley, as well.) I had also read the reviews for it, most of which were positive. Some, however, said that it was very difficult to pull along but I think this can be overcome by ensuring that the track on the caravan is clean and free of debris and the awning is unfolded and laid out flat before you start. The reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is that it seems quite expensive for what it is - some clips, a pad and a length of cord.

We were struggling to pull our awning through the rail due to arthritis, even with lots of silicone in the rail. Purchasing the pulley has made things so much easier, once we got the lock round the corner of the caravan track, which was a bit fiddly. The pulley did all the work, and took all the strain out of pulling, and awning up in record time. No more steps, or huffing and puffing!!! Two very happy caravaners!!

Excellent service

Just returned to caravanning after a 25 year break and our used caravan came complete with a Vango air awning. Having never used one before we expected some difficulties in putting it up however never realised that the hardest bit would be just threading it through the sleeve on the caravan. Due to the weight there is a constant backward drag and even with two of us (1 feeding and one pulling) we found it quite difficult. Saw this advertised and decided to give it a shot. Using the pulley I was able to thread the awning on my own in about a quarter of the time that it had previously taken two of us to do it. The caravan also came with a pole awning but being much lighter I found I could easily thread it on my own without the assistance of this pulley system. So in summary highly recommended for heavy/air awning, probably not needed for lightweight/pole awning.

This came on time and was well packaged. I was looking forward to using this as I am mainly on my own when putting awning up, it looked like a really useful bit of kit. I watched a couple of YouTube video so I would know what to do next time I put my awning up. I found this easy to get into place and screw in. Whether it was because I am slightly on the small side just around 5ft 1 in, I found tugging on it never moved it or walking backwards. I had to manually feed in the awning at one end and then try and pull but it never worked. In the end I stood on the ladder and manually pushed the awning through the rail. Not as useful as I first thought. But it could be user error.

Macht was es soll. Das Einziehen des Vorzelts war mit einer Person möglich. Dennoch nicht einfach gewesen, liegt aber sicher an der Größe und Gewicht des Vorzelts.
