Nice little grinder
This coffee grinder is great for small servings. If you are making a 12 cup pot you might want a larger grinder or know you will have to fill this one a few times. I have read articles about making a great cup of coffee but while they will tell you to weigh the coffee down to the tenth of a gram and carefully measure the water down to the precise millilitre they don't tend to stress grind. Just fine medium or coarse depending on your brew method. This grinder has excellant control over how coarse a grind you will get. You can buy the same beans from your roaster and not really get the same bean. I like Ethiopian beans, but one order may have come from a different plantaion or the next may have been roasted under different weather conditions. The control over the grind lets you correct your coffee. Not smooth enough, go a little coarser. Not getting enough boldness, try finer. You will find that one roast of beans works best with a grind setting of 20, the next from the same geographic region and roaster may need a 17 setting. Not to mention a morning where you just need a something different and want to go for a large setting change. This little grinder works well for these kind of grind changes. Gives you great control over what taste you are going to end up with and seems durable after 3 monthes use. It was a purchase where I got the value I paid for.

A really good grinder.
Probably one of the better purchases I have made in quite some time. My electric one is good and takes no effort to use, but if there is a power outage you can't use it. This one is sleek and compact. You can take it with you just about anywhere. I have been using it for only a few weeks and the durability seems really good. Also, it grinds more precisely than my electric one because of the variety of settings. The handle comes off after the grind and can be a little cumbersome to store, but that's a small issue. It's little bit of work, so if you're used to convenience maybe have that in mind, but really if we can't spend a few extra minutes to grind some beans then that's just a good problem to have in life. Maybe if you have a hand or wrist injury you can stick with the electric, but the work really is minimal and it's cool little thing to add to the morning/afternoon ritual. Highly recommend.

Fancy little grinder!
I love this little grinder. It works perfectly for my dorm room coffee bar set up! It feels super sturdy and Iโve used so many different grind settings on it and they work great! Itโs easy to carefully clean and is easy to take apart and put back together! Super cute and satisfying to use.

Compact, Quiet, and Great for an Office Coffee Upgrade
I bought this to use with my AeroPress at work, and for the price, itโs been a solid addition. The ceramic conical burr delivers a noticeably better cup than the preโground coffee in the breakroom, and it grinds two scoops in about 15โ20 seconds. Itโs quiet, compact, and easy to stash with the rest of my setup. A few things to note: โข The body can be slippery, and it occasionally twists in my hand when it catches a bean. A wide rubber band around the body of the grinder fixed that issue however. โข Grind consistency is decent, not perfect. After three months Iโve found my sweet spot, but itโs not as uniform as my electric burr grinder at home โ which is probably an unfair comparison. Expect small adjustments when switching beans as it can affect bitterness. โข I wish it could be taken apart for deeper cleaning; the included brush only reaches the underside of the burrs. Maybe thatโs overkill, but Iโm used to doing it with my home setup. On the upside, it feels wellโbuilt, works reliably, and the large handle knob is great for anyone with limited grip strength. Overall: A dependable, travelโfriendly grinder that delivers good results for the price. Iโm happy with it and would recommend it for office or onโtheโgo brewing.

Versatile, sturdy, and fun to use!
This does exactly what it is intended to do, is easy to use, and good for both right and left-handed people. I am no professional on coffee grinding, but I do know this has been really useful and fun for my experiments! I love my mini coffee grinder! It is super simple to set up, store, and transport. It is small enough to take with you in something like a purse or backpack, and is sturdy enough to not break from bumping into things. It comes with a handy little brush to help clean it out! My favorite thing is that this is suitable for both left and right-handed people. When one arm gets tired, I switch to my other arm and turn in the opposite direction. This has reduced the time it takes for me to grind things because it would take 2-4 minutes with one arm (and breaks) and now takes 1-2 minutes. It is a bit noisy, so I try to step out of the room if others are there with me. I appreciate that the manual came with what grind size is recommended for certain methods (ex. pour over vs espresso). I have used mine for both pour overs and espresso and have gotten absolutely delicious results! It is definitely a plus to be able to change the grind size by just one notch. I enjoy that I can get both fine and coarse grounds to achieve my desired flavor profile. When grinding for my espresso, I do half on a lower setting and half on a higher one (1-2 notches) so that I get the crema and flavor that I enjoy. Despite having 40 settings, I've found that mixing 2 grinds gives me my preferred results for the coffee I use. I have also used this for non-coffee things, such as cinnamon, although I'm not sure how much wear that has put on this. I "refresh" my coarse pre-ground coffee by running it through on a finer setting and it helps bring out the flavor more. This has been helpful since people buy me coffee as a gift, but I don't get good crema from pre-ground coffee. My only complaint is that I never know how to store the handle. I can leave the glass part screwed on at the bottom when putting this away, but the handle is just a little awkward since it doesn't fully lay flat when you take it off.

The product is high quality and long lasting
It can grind coffee with the size chosen. Perfect for drip or espresso serving. It has a compact cup sized portion, but can also be used for a jug. It has a good grind consistency and also portable. Recommend to buy.

decent van/RV bean grinder when on the road if you have time to hand grind
durable well made product.decent van/RV bean grinder when on the road. wouldn't recommend for any situation where an electric grinder could be used. I like this grinder for the most part but they are a couple issues. 1) the hand grinder takes a lot longer than I would like. (I used my cordless drill to turn it now to make it quicker) if youre like me in the morning you want to be quick before work id say spring and get an electric one. on the go it does its job. 2)would be better is the bean finer/corse-ness could go finer in my opinion

A minimalist and peaceful bean-grinding workout
If youโre into singleโcup pourโover and secretly want to justify skipping arm day, this grinder is your new personal trainer. Sure, it only holds about 20g of beans, but trust meโonce you start cranking, youโll be grateful youโre not fueling a whole pot. This thing turns โmaking coffeeโ into light morning calisthenics. Iโve actually replaced part of my morning workout with beanโgrinding reps. With this, you can grind your way to caffeine and toned forearms at the same time? With 40 grind settings, anything below 20 becomes a fullโblown resistance exercise. But seriously, I do like this grinder and appreciate the simplicity and peace of manually grinding my own beans. It's a relaxing morning ritual at this point. Pro tip: once the beans settle into the burrs, changing the grind setting becomes a challenge, so dial it in before you start cranking unless you enjoy midโgrind wrestling matches. The payoff? Beautifully consistent grounds and a peaceful, whisperโquiet morning routineโno more electricโgrinder chaos. Just you, your grinder, and the satisfying knowledge that your coffee ritual now counts as strength training.

Effective and great value
Great value for money. Easy to use and clean. Has clear settings for making different coarseness, fineness of grounds. Love it! Also much lighter and smaller than others on the market. I take it with me on short trips as doesn't take up much room.

Precision at Its Finest โ A Must-Have Manual Grinder for Coffee Enthusiasts
As a coffee enthusiast who enjoys the ritual of grinding beans fresh each morning, Iโve tried several manual grinders over the years โ including the Prolex โ but this one truly stands out. The build quality is excellent, and the precision of the grind settings is remarkable. With 40 adjustable settings, it offers an impressive level of control over grind size, whether you're brewing espresso, pour-over, or French press. What sets this grinder apart is the consistency. Unlike my previous grinder, which relied on adjusting the burr screw and often resulted in uneven grinds, this model delivers a uniform grind every time. The adjustment mechanism is intuitive and allows for fine-tuning with ease, making it ideal for those who like to experiment with different brewing methods. The grinder is compact and portable, perfect for travel or small kitchens. The hand crank operates smoothly, and the ceramic burrs do a great job preserving the flavor of the beans. Itโs surprisingly efficient โ grinding a dose for espresso or a full cup takes minimal effort. If youโre serious about your coffee and want a reliable, high-precision manual grinder, this is an excellent choice. It exceeded my expectations and has quickly become an essential part of my morning routine.
