Great pickup
Great price for a special addition. The extras included are awesome and high quality. Fun game too. Not a game for people that don't like a challenge though.

Great CE, game is good.
Not a 10/10 Switch game, but IMHO it's quite playable, and the graphics/animations are amazing. Really nice CE box set.

Great overall but lags docked
Product is 5/5; but the gameplay lags on the tv when docked. Almost seamless when handheld; fun.

A brand new take on a classic game!
I've been a Pac-Man fan since the 80s, but I've also been playing Metroidvania style games since around that same time. The two styles would have seemed almost incompatible until now. Several months ago, an episode of Secret Level deftly dropped a trailer for this game, but we had no idea at the time. Later, it would be divulged that this episode was unveiling things to come in the Pac-Man universe. I'm happy to say that this new game not only reflects the style and mood of that Secret Level episode, but it also takes the Pac-Man property to new heights. Resembling games like Castlevania or Super Metroid, Shadow Labyrinth is an epic journey that takes the best parts of the non-linear platform genre and blends them seamlessly with this moodier Pac-Man motif. It looks and plays fantastic! Overall, a lot of fun. I won't give away any of the game's key story points, but I would absolutely recommend gamers take a chance and find out for themselves. In an age when so many game developers are hesitant to take big chances, Shadow Labyrinth serves as a big exception. Definitely check this one out!

Great game and awesome extras .
Game is amazing definitely get it if you like Metroid or Castlevania. The movement could use some work but it's not so bad that I can't finish the game . The secret edition costs twice as much but has some really cool stuff In the box.

Shadow Labyrinth Nintendo Switch Secret Edition
Decent but Flawed Dungeon Crawler Experience Shadow Labyrinth Secret Edition for the Nintendo Switch is one of those games that sits right in the middle—neither bad nor great, but somewhere in between. It definitely has its moments, and you can see the effort that went into making it atmospheric and mysterious, but there are also enough flaws and limitations that keep it from standing out as a top-tier dungeon crawler. The strongest aspect of the game is its atmosphere. The developers did a good job crafting a moody and eerie setting that makes you feel like you’re actually exploring a dark, endless labyrinth. The dim lighting, shadowy corridors, and creepy ambient sounds create tension in a way that feels immersive. The soundtrack helps push this even further, with subtle music and unsettling tones that make you wonder what might be waiting around the corner. Gameplay-wise, it starts off engaging, with a nice mix of exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat. Some of the puzzles are cleverly designed, and there’s a real sense of accomplishment when you figure them out. The combat system, however, is where things fall short. While it’s functional, it lacks variety and depth. Battles tend to feel repetitive after a few hours, as enemy types don’t change much and strategies rarely need to be adjusted. This can make the later parts of the game feel more like a grind than an exciting challenge. Performance is another mixed element. For a Switch title, the graphics are decent but not impressive. They lean into a stylized, darker aesthetic, which works for the setting, but some textures and environments feel dated or overly recycled. Worse yet, frame rate drops do happen, particularly in larger rooms with more enemies or effects. It’s not game-breaking, but it’s distracting enough to pull you out of the experience. As for the “Secret Edition” content, it’s a nice bonus but ultimately underwhelming. The extra rooms, hidden items, and a few unlockable secrets are fun for players who enjoy scouring every corner, but they don’t fundamentally change the gameplay loop. I was expecting a little more in terms of added story content or gameplay features, so in that sense, the edition feels more like a small expansion pack than a true upgrade. Despite its issues, I wouldn’t call Shadow Labyrinth Secret Edition a bad game. There’s a solid foundation here, and players who enjoy dungeon crawlers will probably appreciate the exploration and the general atmosphere. That said, it doesn’t do enough to stand out from other games in the genre, and the repetition, performance hiccups, and underwhelming extra content keep it from being a must-play. Overall, this is a solid 3-star experience. Not a waste of time, but not something I’d recommend at full price either. It’s a decent dungeon crawler with some highlights, but it never quite rises above being just okay.

Simple review
Everything came nicely packed and was present. The game is really fun as well for a Metroidvania

The limited edition packaging has a large and obtrusive battery warning label printed directly on the front of the box. The back of the box using Spanish language for the spelling of “Subtitles”, an obvious error, not sure why they thought this would be ok to sell as is🤷 I have to unfortunately return this and just settle for the standard edition.

Not happy with this at all. Bought with the understanding the "Booklet Case" was for the game... nope. Just the pins and stickers. Also exterior box has a warning label printed on the box itself, as well as an extra inside of it in case you somehow missed it. I was excited for this until I received it.
