I was carrying around a tackle box with one strap to wear cross body or on one shoulder, and I’m so glad I don’t have to lug that around anymore! This vest is lightweight, great quality, and has plenty of room. I wore it trout fishing this past weekend and had room for two smaller tackle boxes, sunglasses, my phone, and even some snacks! I loved that there were also loops to clip tools on and one in the back for a net. I would wear this in warmer weather too, as it’s breathable and the adjustable sides allow for lots of air flow. I would say it’s worth the money!

So this was more of one of those spontaneous purchases that every once in awhile everyone does. My husband wanted something that would provide him comfort and ease of access to the 'essentials' for one of his fishing trips. We contemplated one of those waterproof fishing bags when wouldn't you know it we happened on this little number. We were skeptical looking at some of the mixed reviews but we figured hey lets take the plunge and give it a go, we kept coming back to it and so we figured why not and boy were we ever pleased that we did. you talk pockets? this things got em, this thing has more pockets and places to put your stuff that puts batman's utility belt to literal shame. If your fisherman is savvy and knows how to work it he'll know how to work every pocket and strap to make the most of what this things got to offer to. The vest is super lightweight and it's hella durable once it was loaded down with all your fishing goodies my husband easily was able to fling this thing on and off as he needed to and mind you it got pretty heavy with all the stuff he managed to get in there! so that says something ya'll! this thing holds up to the abuse! It's breathable, we were worried about hubby getting to hot wearing this thing but that wasn't even a problem. Mid day in Florida out on the golf and hubby was perfectly content and pleased. So ladies and gents you want a good gift for the fisherman in your life ? look no further..it's hard to beat the quality and the price of this thing. Told hubby we ought to get a second one as a backup since you never know when you won't be able to find a gem like this again. Also, we went with the camo and it's sharp ;)

I intended to buy an angler PFD as I just bought a new canoe. I was in a hurry, so I bought this vest without reading into much details, because this one looks great with so many pockets and the price is incredible good. When receiving it, I immediately recognized that it is NOT a Personal Flotation Device (PFD). This one was on me since there was no where on the site that the seller mentioned the product as a Life Jacket. Almost return it to Amazon, but on a second thought, I tried wearing it on top of a cheap life jacket that I have a quite few laying around the house (bought them on one of our boat trip with the family). Turned out it fits very well on top of the life jacket. So now I have exactly what I need, a life jacket with so many of pockets that I carry all my essential fishing gears (trust me, I have A LOT of them!). And I still have a few pockets left. No other multipurpose vest (fishing + PFD), even those with a much higher price tags, would come close to my modular vest regarding the number of pockets. LOL... Another great thing about this modular-approach is that when not fishing from my canoe, but from the bank (I do both types of fishing), I can just leave my cheap inner Life Jacket aside, and wear only this fishing vest, which is very light and comfortable. I don't need to move my gears from one jacket to another (and rewire my brain to remember which is where), or worse, buying 2 sets of gears for each dedicated-jacket. And if it's cold outside, I can wear this vest on top of any winter jacket, for sure. I absolutely LOVE this modular approach, and so look forward to my next fishing trip! I am an avid Fisher and I beat the hell out of all my stuff. This thing is awesome worth every penny everything is right in front of you. I thought I wouldn’t like it but it’s great. I’m used to having a vest with the pockets on the side, this is even better set up. I would buy it again. Zippers are strong. Very good product.

This vest is absolutely what I was looking for fly fishing! The quality is great and I extremally satisfied with the design, looks wonderful. All of the pockets and features are very useful, the product is very well build in regards of pockets capacity, different sizes and forms. Side sections are good fit for glasses, back pouch would be great for personal stuff like wallet or car keys, Supper cool. Thank you seller!

Seems to be a well made product, used it for float fishing steel head fishing for about a month so far and its great, lots of pockets for your gear stitching seems to be strong. Zippers are good so far no issues. Not bad having a mobile tackel box. For the price id say its a great vest and would recommend

I've been using a waist pack for a couple years and I'm so happy I switched to this vest! Love that the weight is distributed along my shoulders more evenly than straining my lower back! Went out for a couple hours yesterday and got into some steelhead and didn't feel any back strain at all. It's perfect and has even more storage than my waist pack did plus with the extra pockets all my gear is a lot more organized. Love tho rod holder too whenever I'm tying on new flies or rigs and not having to worry about dropping my setup in the river + not having to carry my rod in hand especially during the hike to the river! The major win for me was the extra storage pouch in the back to keep my water bottle. I would buy this vest 100x over!
