The Big Cheese Anti Mouse Refresher Spray - 500 ml Mouse Biting and Chewing Deterrent/Repellent Mint Scented Non-Toxic Ready-To-Use

Since started hearing scuttling noises in my attic above my bedroom, did research and got this peppermint spray. Took a deep breath and brave myself going up the ladder to the attic with shaky hands and the spray in toll ready to go into the battlefield with the little critters. Thankfully not one in sight to my bladder relief.....yes I was ready to wet my pants if see one! Armed with the spray and looking smug, I started going around the loft spraying at every direction thinking I was Arnie in Terminator. Satisfied with the job well done, I start to descend down the ladder and then slammed shut the trap door letting those critters know I meant business! So far almost a month now, only heard once a couple of nights later what sounded like something came into the loft, then immediately went straight out again. Since then nothing to my relief.......love the strong peppermint odour it gives out and it is for keeps. Ordered few extra bottles for the coming chill just in case. Have already recommended to a friend who has been at the end of her tethers with the same problem.

For such a reasonably large size spray bottle the product does not go a long way. It has a lovely scent but the scent seems to wear off very quickly. It was great for freshening up around the rattan furniture on the decking and along the edge of the decking, but unsure if it worked for the purpose of its making. I've also got bait boxes around the decking and no signs of any little four legged life at the moment. However, i wouldn't buy this again as I am sure there are much easier and cheaper ways to make and use effectively the same 'product' yourself.

This product comes in a good colourful bottle with lots of information on it. This bottle sprays the product really evenly and well. After spraying this stuff smells REALLY strong,wow! I have only tried a few peppermint based mice sprays including the impressive(in theory!) 'exterminators choice mice defense' which only has a mild peppermint scent as it is mixed with other 'powerful' mice repellant oils.(a good choice if you like a fresh herby smell instead of your home smelling like the Trebor mint factory!!)but I did not find it as good to attack those naughty MEECES. This product is badly advertised I feel as it is a peppermint mice remover spray like all the others. It says it contains PEPPERMINT OIL. Big deal,this DEFINATELY contains more than just peppermint oil.I smell perhaps another type of mint smell,maybe spearmint?and a smell that is like menthol. All similar I admit but this is THE most potent Meece oil I have tried,it almost stings the eyes.!!! I madly sprayed de odourisers,fresh air sprays and essential oils of lemon to put the Meece off. A week later from all my intensive spraying e dry day there were more than ever!!! (Obviously not all scents and essential oils work!!) As soon as I tried peppermint oil,no more MEECES. I am not saying they left my home,certainly not,but they certainly didn't want to come out or explore! I have continued to use peppermint oil,with this spray here as the best so far.And the mice are nowhere to be seen. Again,don't assume they have gone as this can take up to 6 weeks apparently for them to finally get pissed off enough to pack their bags and go. However so far,so good.I may keep you informed on results long term if you question me.

The worthless product doesn't work. It's a waste of money. I used smell deterrent; it still isn't coming, and the mice have not gone out of the house.

I was a little sceptical if this would work as it says but I was shocked at how well and how quickly it did. I had a little visitor in my kitchen who was nipping In in the evening to check for any dropped food by one of my dogs bowls. Having dogs meant no poison or traps because of inquisitive dog noses, so thought I’d give this a try. My suspected it was coming in the backdoor when the dogs popped outside, so I sprayed along the step inside and out, along skirting boards, along the sides and under washing machine and fridge. since the first spray and a spray a week later I’ve had no further visits. It also has worked on my porch front door step where a neighbours cat kept spraying and had none of that either so I’m more than happy with this.
