Good beer!
I made this once already, however didn't realise you're supposed to use an added dry malt for best results. No worries though, I simply used a kilo of sugar instead and some heading powder alginate when bottling. Perfectly smooth IPA with a decent head and maybe just a little bit stronger than the suggested dry malt version as I had misread the malt additive was 500g and not a kilo! Shows how good a malt extract it is if you can still get a decent brew despite my mistakes.

Coopers Brew A IPA Can
I brewed this on 22 Oct 20 and now tasting it out the bottle on 11 Dec 20. I am seriously impressed. I brewed it using bottled spring water (the cheap stuff from our well-known larger supermarkets), 1Kg Youngs brewing sugar and 500g of Munton's Light Spray Malt and it came out at 5.1% prior to priming in the 500ml bottles using 1/2 teaspoon of granulated sugar. It has a great body, a bit of fizz which can be adjusted for a head whilst pouring to a glass, and very little sediment left in the bottle, but always good to keep an eye on the pour to avoid this in the glass. Taste is superb and may try and add some hops next time just to polish it off, but for me this is a fantastic kit and well worth the money. I am ordering more right now!

Make sure you get 1.5kilo of light dry malt!
Currently in the process of brewing this kit and you dont realise until it arrives that you need to add dry malt, Instead of saying on the instructions you need 1.5kg of light malt it just says 3 sachets (500g) which i thought was quite misleading. So im brewing this with less unfortunatly so the ABV will be lower. Have added 500g of dextose a few days in when i had realised. It does pay to watch a few videos online first. However an enjoyable process and i look forward to tasting the finish product.. update 16th Jan. Ale turned out very nice. A clear colour and turned out fairly strong with a great taste. Stored in a pressure king keg in shed so lovely and chilled.

The Finest Beer I've Had!
Along with adding the Spray Malt instead of sugar, and priming the bottles with brewing sugar instead of normal sugar, this made for probably the best tasting beer I've ever had!! It went down an absolute treat, and everyone of my friends and family loved it and couldn't speak highly enough 🍻 I really do recommend, and definitely use Spray Malt instead of sugar 👍 Mine came with an Aussie yeast (as anticipated), but on my next batch, I'm going to use a Munich yeast, just to experiment a little more with different types of yeast.
