Review: Best workout earbuds I’ve used - I had the original Powerbeats Pro and they were some of the best earbuds I’d ever used, so I had high expectations for the Powerbeats Pro 2. They haven’t disappointed me. The biggest reason I keep coming back to Powerbeats is the ear-hook design. I’ve tried a lot of different earbuds, and sooner or later most of them start slipping or falling out, especially during exercise. These stay extremely secure. They’re probably the most secure earbuds I’ve personally used, which makes them perfect for working out. The sound quality is great, they’re very comfortable, the noise cancellation works well, and the battery life has been excellent. I use them regularly and honestly haven’t found anything I dislike about them so far. If you want a pair of earbuds you don’t have to constantly adjust or worry about falling out during a workout, I highly recommend these.
Review: Matches my needs. No need to worry about it fall off so easily. - I recommend doing the custom audio thing a couple times until the audio sounds right. Otherwise, it’ll sound a little flat. Totally optional though. Plays audio clearly. Microphone is okay. Sleek matte black. A more modern look than the 1st version (I call that v1). I love the ear hooks. It’s actually the reason why I wanted these over the usual airpods. Since they always pass the hair spinning / head tossin’ test. The ear hooks are not as adjustable but the ear cushions are. I ended up using my old powerbeats pro v1 cushions. The tapered shape ones. It works perfectly! Compatible with my iPhone. 👍🏼👌🏼 If you want audiophile quality, I would recommend something else.

## Features

- BUILT FOR ATHLETES WHO DON'T STOP: After 1,500 hours of testing across athletes of every ear shape and intensity level, Powerbeats Pro 2 delivers a secure-fit earhook that stays locked on — whether you're in a sprint, a heavy lift, or a full class.
- TUNE OUT THE GYM. TUNE INTO YOUR WORKOUT: Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) designed specifically for training environments — filters the noise floor so you can lock on, with Transparency mode to let in what matters when it matters.
- YOUR HEART RATE, RIGHT FROM YOUR EARS: Built-in sensors pulse 100+ times per second for real-time heart rate tracking without a chest strap or watch. Train smarter and keep your hands free. IPX4 rated for sweat and water resistance.
- 45 HOURS. ENOUGH FOR THE WHOLE WEEK: Powered by the Apple H2 chip, Powerbeats Pro 2 delivers up to 45 hours of total listening time with the charging case — the first wireless Qi-charging case from Beats. Running low? Fast Fuel means a 5-minute charge gives you 1.5 hours of playback.
- WORKS SEAMLESSLY WITH APPLE AND ANDROID: One-touch pairing, automatic device switching, and hands-free Siri on Apple. Full feature access including Heart Rate Monitoring, customizable controls, and battery widgets on Android via the Beats app for Android.
- SOUND THAT ADJUSTS TO YOU: Adaptive EQ uses built-in microphones to measure your listening environment in real time, then fine-tunes the frequencies to fit your ears — clear highs, rich mid-range, and powerful bass on every track. Personalized Spatial Audio with head tracking on Apple devices.
- CLEAR CALLS, WHEREVER YOU ARE: Six total microphones — three per earbud — isolate your voice and filter ambient noise for call quality that holds up at the gym, on a run, or mid-commute. Class 1 Bluetooth keeps your connection stable across the room.
- CONTROLS THAT KEEP UP WITH YOU: On-ear buttons, tactile volume rockers, and voice-activated controls let you adjust on the fly — without breaking your stride, your rep or your focus.
- LIGHTER. STRONGER. MORE FLEXIBLE: 20% lighter than the previous generation. The nickel titanium alloy earhook gives Powerbeats Pro 2 the flexibility to comfortably fit every ear and the strength to hold through any workout. Five ear tip sizes included for a personalized acoustic seal.
- EVERYTHING YOU NEED, INCLUDED: Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds, wireless Qi charging case, five ear tip sizes, quick start guide, warranty card. *USB-C to USB-C charging cable sold separately.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best workout earbuds I’ve used

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love beats pro
*by D***E on September 9, 2026*

I love the beats pro. I had beats pro 1 for a long time and I like these because the case is smaller, the headphones are smaller and there's noise canceling. I think the controls are quite as good because I accidentally hang up on people when I try to put them in while on the phone or tuck my hair behind my ears but it's probably my sausage fingers. The last a long time between charging. I work construction and can use them the whole shift. They stay in when I get sweaty and run on the treadmill. The pair seamlessly with my macbook pro and my iphone. My truck had the fan clutch go out and was super noisy in the cab so if I wanted to take a call while driving I could just press the button on the headphone and it automatically transfers to my headphones without having to my to fiddle with the radio. I bought a pair for my boyfriend's birthday and he likes them too. He had airpods before.
