Extremely robust, quality shovel. It digs and it smashes into the ground with aplomb.

This is a very sturdy tool. It is perfect for when you are driving on the beach. It is a requirement on some beaches to have a shovel. I would highly recommend this tool.

I use this shovel for camping and around the backyard. It's great for light to medium duty digging and campfire fire management, but it's got a couple things that bug me. First is the hole near the tip of the shovel. I've had the blade crack a couple different times which I've repaired with my welder; I have now completely filled in the hole and haven't had any issues since. They should really remove this hole as there are holes for the handle rivet and those could be used to hang from for paint. The second is the amount of what I'm assuming is weld debris inside the shaft and I hear it every time I turn the shovel over like it's some kind over overlanding rain stick. The handle, although plastic is very sturdy. I would buy again but I would like to see the design improved.

I bought this for overlanding and wanted a nice, sturdy, compact shovel. It's even better than I expected! The steel on the blade and shaft are very heavy duty and are welded together on both sides. It has a decent plastic handle. I can already tell this is going to hold up to all of the abuse it is about to receive!!!

Perfect fit in truck bed

The head of shovel has an increased curvature to be able to scoop better, and it is now solid (no more hole near the tip) It looks like all the suggestions and complaints have been heard... picked this one because it's Made in the USA, feels solid and strong.

Whether it's the zombie apocalypse or just getting stuck in a mud puddle, I know that I'm safer with a strong shovel in my trunk. Essential safety accessory, and quality manufacturing from what I can tell!
